TRAVELLING DISTANCE from Palma Airport to LOS ALTOS is approx 20 mins. Car hire is recommended, though not essential, in order to be able to appreciate the full beauty of the island, as excellent public transport is available. Taxi's operate regularly in the area and are reliable and inexpensive. Example: 20-25euros approx from the airport to LOS ALTOS. The local bus stop, which can take you in the direction of either Portals Nous or Palma City is only a few minutes walk from the apartment. The roads from and around Palma, the island's capital are excellent. CAR HIRE: is very competitively priced and can be organised in advance of your arrival or collected on the day at the airport.
