Beautiful 2 bed apartment in exclusive gated complex, close to beach, Cala D'or

This is the perfect location for a family holiday. The complex is only a very short walk from all the bars/restaurants in Cala Egos and has a handy supermarket across the road for all esentials. English newspapers/magazines are available there and there is a newsagent on the main street offereing an even greater selection.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean upon arrival with a plentiful supply of towels/linen - we even bumped into the cleaners as we had an early flight and even though they spoke little English we were okay sit on the terrace whilst they finished.
The pool and pool bar are fantastic. You are able to order drinks and snacks on the terrace overlooking the pool and the managerment are very friendly.
We dined out most of the time so only used the catering facilities on a couple of occasions but everything was provided that we needed and the dvd player and games machine came in handy to to keep the kids amused. The televsion reception was a bit unreliable at times particularly late at night but this didn't really bother us as the pool bar had plenty of dvd's to hire.
We were planning to visit Cala Dor centre and the marina as well as probably visiting a water park but didn't bother in the end as there are plenty of restaurants on the main street and with the pool being as good as it was nobody really wanted to venture away too much. The only advantage to visiting Cala Dor would be the greater choice of shops (a little more up-market maybe).
The nearest beach is also only a five minute walk away but unless you particularly enjoy the sand and sea you'll end up staying by the pool as we did.
All in all it was a fantastic holiday and we want to book next year if you are renting out again!
