70m2 Apartment situated in the heart of Palma Mallorca, in the historic centre, on a typical Mallorquin square. The apartment has been restored tastily, thereby mixing the old Mallorquin architecture with modern style. The apartment has a living room, with a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area, a bedroom with a double bed and a windows and a nice Mallorquin style cupboard, another bedroom with two single beds and the bathroom is modern style ad completely made of marble. The living room has a sofa and an armchair and a table with four chairs. It is ideal for four people. The apartment is very joyful and has excellent views to the square. The Mallorquin style has been conserved; the windows are made of wood and the wooden rafter can be seen on the ceiling. It has parket on the floor and all the windows have double glass. The apartment has a lift. It is a charming apartment which is in front of an old romantic church.

The neighbourhood is famous as it is the eldest neighbourhood in Palma. Recently, some of the houses have been restored in a Mallorquin way and thus this has added beauty to this part of Palma, which has gained a special identity of its own. It is less than 5 minutes walking distance of Palma’s shopping and administrative centre. All tourist attractions are in easy reach – the cathedral is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment as is the parliament and house of government. The lovely sandy Playa de Palma beach is only a 7 minute walk from the apartment. This makes the apartment the perfect place for a combined city break and beach holiday. The restaurants and bars are also within easy reach. A public covered swimming pool is just by the apartment.

Location: It has an easy access as you can go by car and it's only 10 minutes walking from Plaza de Cort. Famous places such as San Francisco church with it's famous architecture, Plaza Santa Eulalia, the CBD,.... I have my own website with more pictures and information please contact me for the address. I can arrange a pick up taxi at the airport. This expense is not included in the price and runs at your own expense.

Lovely central apartment

We (4 adults and 1 baby) stayed here in June 2009. Short walk to the cathedral and historic sights, yet near a good bus route for the airport and buses to the beaches etc. Walking distance to city beaches too and short walk to train station. We travelled around the island by bus and train with our 15-month-old and found the apartment well located to minimise these travel times. Nicely decorated, good air-con and cool, dark rooms (shutters) gave relief from the summer heat. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Felt relaxed here yet central to nightlife. Didn't notice any traffic noise, but we were usually up with baby at 7am. Stairs to first floor are very steep and narrow and lift is one person + bag only, so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Owner very welcoming. I think a map of palma and majorca perhaps on the wall with reccommendations and places (supermarket etc) would be a useful feature and some information on sights. Also, perhaps some milk/bread for one's arrival would be a nice touch, esp for late arrivals. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I wanted a central apartment near to sights/eateries/transport links. Thanks.

Great place to stay

Can really recommend this apartment for its affordability, location, comfort, cleanliness and charm. Other properties we looked at were much more expensive and although they may have had views of the cathedral this place looks out onto a quiet square with church, a bar and a weekly flea market. The money you save you can spend on lovely food and drinks further into the old town. And the owner is very friendly, speaks good English. Our flight was delayed so we didn't arrive till gone midnight. She still hung on to greet us which was much appreciated. Lovely.

The apartment was exactly as described in the advertisement, very clean and convenient for just about everywhere you would want to go in Palma.

The only drawback was the noise from the square from early in the morning, although this is pretty much everywhere in Palma.

The landlady was extremely nice and always willing to help if you needed something.

I was especially happy that there were no 'hidden' charges -something I encountered when looking at other apartments (e.g. charging an extra 100 Euros to guests who arrive after 9pm at night.)

I would certainly recommend this apartment to others looking for somewhere central in Palma and I would be very happy to stay there again myself.
