This spacious raised garden flat forms the ground floor of a townhouse built at least 150 years, but was refurbished 10 years ago. It is situated in a very quiet road close to all amenities and the main square. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby. It has a lawned garden that runs the length of the building and a generous terrace, perfect for eating outside on. The town itself, apart from being full of interesting architecture, and history, has a number of high quality art galleries, and an international music festival during the summer months of July and August. The beaches at Cala San Vicente and Pollenca are within a ten-minute drive by car or by local bus. There are numerous walks in the area and the island is a haven for birdwatchers in the spring and autumn. The flat is in a quiet residential area of the old town and we hope that visitors to the property will respect the fact and will act accordingly.

Pollenca is in the north of Mallorca, at the end of the mountain chain that runs along the west side of the island. There are a number of sandy beaches nearby. The closest beach is at Cala San Vicente, however, Puerto Pollenca and its bay is almost as close and the famous Formentor beach can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Mallorca is an island of fantastic contrasts, from rural farmland to mountain ranges and beautiful towns and last but not least, sandy beaches.

We are a family of 3 and we stayed for a week in June 2009. We could not have asked for much more from this lovely apartment, quiet and peaceful yet less than 5 minutes level walk to the central place/square in the town. In the flat we only missed one thing: internet access, but we found out, that it´s free in the center of the town. Just bring your labtop or phone with you. Within 2 minutes walk there is also a local small supermarket, a butcher and a baker.

Everything was fine! We and our two children, 5 and 7, got exactly what we were looking for: A nice, private place off the tourism industry.

Far too late we discovered the butcher and the small supermarket nearby, which are mentioned in some reviews. = we had some unnecessary walking/driving to buy daily basics. If you book the appartment, ask the contact people for directions to these shops.They make the stay even more convenient.

Quite a find. An amazingly spacious flat tucked down one of the narrow streets of pollenca, the small garden was a bonus. The log burning fire would make the flat very cosy on chilly nights - logs can be bought at the local garage. It was a pleasure to be able to stroll into the centre of town for a meal or a drink, and the local butcher, baker (coisants delicious) and grocer were all very friendly and helpful.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed for a week over the New Year.
We could not have asked for more from this lovely apartment, quiet and peaceful yet less than 5 minutes level walk to the central aquare with all its restaurants and bars.
Within 2 minutes walk there is a local small supermarket, a butcher and a baker.

It's not often that you walk into a holiday property and say, "We could live here," but we felt exactly like that. The flat was easy to find thanks to excellent directions, was very clean and well prepared. We liked the warm, homely atmosphere, the space, the level of comfort and the full range of equipment. Outdoors the shaded terrace is fine for relaxing or eating al fresco, sheltered from the the rays of the sun. Folk who like to take the rays can do so comfortably, in the secluded garden. Venturing into the streets, you soon discover that Pollensa is really quite a small town and you'll find all that you need in terms of shops, bars and a range of restaurants quite closeby. For sure parking was a bit of a problem but in October we always found a space within a couple of minute's walk from the flat. We'd recommend the flat to anyone and yes, we'd go back!
