Fabulous Apartment

This apartment was absolutely perfect, it was in a nice quiet spot but not too far from the beach (5 min walk down 1 street) and shops.Town centre 10 -15 minute stroll away. There was a handy private car parking space just outside. The apartment was very clean, and very nicely decorated in a simple and pleasant Ikea style. It was well appointed with aircon in the lounge and master bedroom - no aircon in the twin bedroom though - that room never really overheated but in lieu of aircon perhaps the owner should consider providing a fan for that room.
There was a decent tv, dvd player and satellite tv although you are more likely to spend time on the good sized balcony with it's comfortable table & chairs.
As mentioned before, the apartment was well appointed with a decent fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, iron, washing machine & tumble drier. A dishwasher would have been ideal - the apartment details did state that there was a dishwasher when in fact there wasn't. This was the only thing that was not accurate in the description however.
The bathroom was small but adequate and nicely decorated in a modern style. The shower was decent - far better than I have experienced in other Mallorcan properties. No bath but that was not a problem for us.
The owner was very pleasant to deal with, answering email queries about the apartment prior to our visit promptly and helpfully. He met us at a mutually convenient spot and we were able to follow him to the apartment where he showed us round and how everything worked. We had no problems during our stay so had no need to contact him for anything, but he comes across as very responsible and conscientious so I would think if you needed him to sort anything out for you he would do so. (He lives in Palma).
All in all I would heartily recommend this property to a friend, we had a great 2 weeks the only downside to our holiday was that we felt the beach was not as clean as in previous visits to Port de Pollensa. We have emailed various responsible bodies about this and are awaiting feedback.
We would come back and stay at this property like a shot - if when we saw them we felt the beaches were still too dirty we would use this apartment as our base and drive to Formentor and other beaches instead as the apartment is great and the restaurants etc. are also very good.
