This beautifully appointed luxury garden apartment is set within an exclusive and sought after gated community between Santa Ponsa and Puerto Adriano in the South West of Mallorca. Its beautiful private garden has direct access to and overlooks the swimming pool and beautiful landscaped gardens. It is fully air-conditioned/heated and has been furnished to high standards making it a very comfortable home from home. There are several free-form tropical outdoor pools, one of which has a shallow walk-in end for children directly outside our private garden, and a heated 25 metre indoor pool. Set in a quiet and peaceful conservation area, close to beaches, golf courses and all the main family attractions make it an ideal holiday location. The beautiful city of Palma with its wonderful Cathedral and shops is a 15 minute drive, and the stylish marina at Portals with its luxury super yachts, fabulous restaurants and designer boutiques is only 10 minutes away.

Santa Ponsa is one of the most sought after locations being between the Cathedral city of Palma and the traditional port of Andratx. Everything you could wish for you will find nearby, golf, scuba diving, tennis, go-carting, cycling, walking, sailing, as well as family excursions such as Marineland, Western Water Park, Pirates Adventure, Aqualand and even bowling at the Festival Park just north of Palma. Dining out is a pleasure with international and traditional cuisine to suit all tastes and budgets and a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.   • Rates quoted are for up to 4 people. We also have our own travel cot for infants with linen provided. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm a booking, which will be deducted from the final balance of your booking. No booking can be confirmed until a deposit has been received. The final balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. A Damage & Security deposit of £250 is required which will be fully refundable when the keys are returned & our agents confirm that there is no damage to the apartment & no excess cleaning was required. The keys & directions will be forwarded to you 1 week prior to your departure. Your apartment will have been fully cleaned & prepared ready for your arrival with fresh bed linen & towels. A mid-holiday clean and linen change can be arranged but will incur an extra cost. A welcome pack or any other shopping can also be arranged at extra cost. Please ask for details.   • Facilities. The apartment is located close to all the amenities you will need. Santa Ponsa is a 3 minute drive away and has several supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. An English doctor is also available in Santa Ponsa as is a dentist. There is an English supermarket and butcher in Portals, a 10 minute drive away and a covered shopping mall about 15min drive away, details of which are all in the Welcome Book. Car hire is recommended. The closest Golf course is about 3 min drive towards Santa Ponsa and the busy resort of Palma Nova/ Magaluf with its abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment are a short drive in the other direction. Santa Ponsa has its own white sandy beach and marina and a 2 minute drive away is the lovely Puerto Adriano with its marina, adjacent beach and numerous restaurants and cafes. Families with children are made to feel very welcome in most restaurants in the area and most offer a children's menu.
  • The apartment is approximately 25 minutes drive from Palma Airport on a motorway which makes getting to the apartment quick and easy. Car hire is easily available at the airport, or we can recommend a local hire car company if preferred. Booster and child seats are available from most companies at no extra charge. Taxis are also available from the airport and locally in Santa Ponsa and are inexpensive and reliable. A bus stop is located near to the apartment with a regular service to Palma and Santa Ponsa.

Outside the Master suite is a seating area with comfy wicker sofa, armchair and footstool. The terrace is private and not overlooked by any other apartments. Bedroom 2, again beautifully appointed with comfy twin beds, multiple hanging wardrobes, two chests of drawers and bedside tables. Outside on the terrace are four sun loungers with cushions. Both bedrooms have been furnished luxuriously and are light and airy, benefiting from the south facing aspect which allows all day sun. Linen and towels are provided, but a change of linen or a mid-holiday clean should you request them incur an extra charge. Please ask for details. A cot and high chair are available if required.

Notes: We have furnished our apartment as our second home and the quality of the furnishings are reflected in this. The lounge comprises a huge comfy sofa and armchair, a 42' Plasma TV, satellite, DVD player, dining area with table and 4 chairs. The outdoor furniture includes a dining table and six chairs, comfy sofa and armchair and four sun loungers with cushions. The community is gated with 24hr security and accessed through electric gates with communal parking spaces outside the apartment. The apartment has its own private garden with hedges for added privacy but also has views over the children's pool with shallow walk-in end. Bed linen and towels are provided, as are pool/beach towels. A travel cot and high chair can be provided if necessary. There is a room safe in the master suite for added security. A mid-holiday clean and welcome pack or any shopping required can be arranged at extra cost. Please ask for details. The apartment is strictly non smoking. Pets are not accepted.

Mallorca is a golfers paradise and there are currently 14 courses around the island. Santa Ponsa has two Championship golf courses, both of which have staged the Balearic Open. As a visitor, you can only play on Santa Ponsa 1, the other two courses being reserved exclusively for shareholders. Santa Ponsa 1 is a par-72 course at 6,106m. Green fees are expensive, as they are throughout Mallorca, and a round will cost approximately €88. Golf buggies, clubs and golf trolleys are all available to hire and there are full club house facilities in which to relax and unwind after your round. For those who wish to venture further afield, Mallorca is littered with golf courses, the closest being Poniente 1, a five minute drive away. It is a demanding course and is a challenge to players of all handicaps.

We also have a Villa on the same development which is of the same very high standard, has three bedroom suites and can accommodate up to 7 people including a baby. It has beautiful frontline golf views, it's own private pool and garden as well as access to the community gardens and pools and has its own off road parking, a double covered car port. Its reference number is 439862 and both properties may be booked together subject to availability in order to accommodate larger families.

What a fantastic apartment to have a holiday. All mod con's incl a huge tv. Well appointed throughout. Excellent location. Great outdoor area in apartment grounds and a wide variety of pools throughout complex. We would come back to this apartment in the future, if available. Close to the apartment, Port Adriano has a wide range of good quality restaurants, eat in a few but best we had was Fernando's Utopia. Good food, friendly service and a great setting.

Home from home!

I'm thrilled to have found this beautiful, well managed and stunningly furnished apartment a few years ago. Being a single mum with two boys, it has everything we could wish for for a totally relaxing holiday. Being private with own garden and terrace is wonderful, yet in close proximity to the pools and friendly neighbours. We don't hire a car as we spend so much time at the apartment as it would be a shame not to! The beach, supermarket and port are in walking distance and it's a 10 min taxi journey to Portals and Andratx for when we visit friends for dinner or watch the regatta etc. I only wish we could spend more time there!! It's the one place I can actually relax, read a few books, and have a proper holiday ... in the safety of the peaceful and secure surroundings. Katie, Freddie and George

Better than a Hotel

We love this Apartment, and have stayed in it up to 3 times a year. We can't think of anything We would need to enhance the holiday. We have stayed in other Apartments in this Area of similar standard and think the one thing that tips the scale for us is they include pool towels so you dont have to pack them. (The Airlines are being so picky about allowances) We love the fact we have sunbeds in the private garden and the pool is 5 steps away, Also the 'Main' bedoom bed is so comfy. At least 5 super Restuarants are nearby (we usually walk in Summer) but you can also go into Santa Ponca a short taxi or drive away for the usual! We love this area, 'by the way its in the middle of I think 5 Golf Courses', I nearly forgot Port Adriano has the most super unspoilt little beach ever and for the teens+ its a 5 min taxi to MAGULUF!
