Santa Ponsa holiday apartment

We had a fab 2 weeks staying in this apartment in July. It is really huge and as we were 4 adults and 2 teenagers it was really comfortable for everyone - it would easily accomodate 6 adults.

The views are even more fab than in the pictures we spent plenty of time on the large balcony taking them in.

The furniture and fittings were all lovely (apart from the BBQ which had seen better days I am afraid). Everything was very clean especially the pool ,gardens and communual areas. It is on the second floor but there is a lift. The air conditioning was the best we have ever had - very quiet and effective.

The area was so quite and very often we had the pool to our selves. The walk into the main area of Santa Ponsa does take about 30mins to get to the main beach and the greater selections bars and restaurants. There are plenty of taxis though which cost 7 euros each way. We hired a car for the whole 2 weeks and there was plenty of parking outside the apartment.

The booking process was excellent but we had little contact with the agent whilst we were there. - it would have been nice to have spoken to them on arrival to ask a few questions about the apartment and the local area.

The only thing we would have liked which we have had in all the other properties we have rented was even a small 'welcomepack' so we could have had a much needed drink etc when we arrived. The nearest shop we found was a small supermarket about 20 mins walk with the larger Eroski supermarket down in the main town about a 5 minute drive but a good 40 minute walk.

All in all a very recommended apartment which we would have no hesitation in returning to in the future.
