Beautiful light and airy apartment on popular Kings Park
This air-conditioned, spacious and attractively furnished apartment is at first floor level The large covered terrace, well furnished with table and chairs for al fresco meals, offers beautiful views of the hills around Santa Ponsa and also far reaching views to the sea. The two bedrooms (both with single beds) are spacious have plenty of hanging and drawer space. The newly fitted bathroom has a large walk in shower, wash handbasin and WC. The kitchen, again newly refitted, has a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, hob and oven and microwave. The cupboards contain a good supply of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. The spacious airy lounge includes UK satellite TV, stereo system, a plentiful supply of books with which to while away hours spent sitting on the terrace, or by either of the two pools on this quiet pueblo style residential complex. The lower pool (nearest to the apartment) is perfect for families and the upper pool is a peaceful spot for sunbathing!

Kings Park is set on a low hill to the south of the attractive sandy bay of Santa Ponsa. The main beach is a 10 minute walk, with a smaller shady beach about 7 minutes walk. There are at least 3 golf courses within easy reach. The resort is eminently suitable for families, golfers, those seeking an active holiday or a more restful one! There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops and supermarkets to suit every taste within walking distance; and if hiring a car the marina at Club Nautica and at El Toro are also accessible. The capital, Palma, offers its spectacular cathedral, historic old streets and a plethora of bars, restaurants and shops to explore - all less than 15 minutes drive (although there is a very good bus service). The new motorway linking Palma to Andtrax makes Santa Ponsa, and this lovely apartment, an ideal base for exploring this beautiful island.

| Notes: | This lovely apartment is suitable both for couples or families. We are happy to provide a cot and highchair. The large covered terrace is a peaceful setting for both meals and just relaxing. The proximity of the pool, where there are plenty of sun loungers and reed umbrellas, makes the apartment ideal for families. The apartment is approached by a set of stone steps making it unsuitable for those with mobility issues. However, as the apartment is very near the access to Kings Park and if hiring a car, then the apartment is ideal. However Kings Park is a small pueblo style development with short flights of steps and walkways, thus the elderly or infirm would have problems if they wished to walk around and explore the development. As it is a gated community guests, both young and old would feel secure. |
Activities
Santa Ponsa has its own unique carnival in early September - when the Moors and Christians re-enactment takes place. Places such as Deya, Valdemossa and the train trip (with special stopping places to look at the view) to Soller are a must. This apartment is an ideal base for sightseeing (coach trips are also bookable), for walking the hills around this beautiful part of the island - special guide books available detailing interesting walks. In the Spring Mallorca is the venue for serious cyclists - who are well catered for, with cycling tracks, but who are also given courtesy on the roads. Santa Ponsa Country Club is a haven for tennis players, with more courts available in Santa Ponsa itself. A short bus/car ride brings families to the aqua parks, Marineland and the go kart track.
Accessibility
The extension of the motorway makes Santa Ponsa even more attractive: a mere 20 minutes from the airport to the Santa Ponsa exit and Kings Park is about 3 minutes drive. Plenty of taxis available, or if you want the security of your onward transport awaiting you then we can forward details of a trusted service. Kings Park is well known and there should be no difficulty in finding the development. Golf Information:
Santa Ponsa I (with its par-72 course), II and III are within an easy drive; further courses at Poniente, Bendinat and Andtrax within a short distance.
