Our beautifully furnished ground floor apartment is situated in a new gated community in Santa Ponsa. A walk of about 5 minutes takes you to the sandy beach; and a short drive brings you to a choice of golf courses. Our apartment has 3 large attractive bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. The large kitchen is very well equipped with good quality crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. There is a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, together with large fridge/freezer and, of course, oven, hob and microwave. There are private gardens on 3 sides, making the apartment very suitable for small children. Sun blinds are fitted where necessary. A gate leads to the communal pool and barbecue area. The covered terrace is furnished with good quality sun loungers, table and chairs. The apartment has dual air conditioning/heating, making it an ideal choice for either winter or summer vacations. There is SKY satellite television and DVD player.

Notes to the rental rates

• WE ASK FOR A REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT OF £250.
  A deposit of 25% secures your booking; at which time we will send you a formal confirmation and invoice for the balance, including the breakage deposit, which is due 8 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. On receipt of the balance full details regarding keys are forwarded to you. The apartment is available from 2 pm.
  Check out time is 10am. If your flight is a late one, then please ask to book an extra day to allow the comfort of remaining in the apartment until it is time to return to the airport.

Activities

Santa Ponsa is a lovely family resort conveniently located for island wide exploration - or for just sunbathing on the safe sandy beach, or by the large communal pool - or indeed in the seclusion of your own garden! If sightseeing the new motorway, link between Palma and Andtrax is very convenient. There is a very good bus service to the aqua parks, Marineland and the go cart track. Tours can be arranged to Deya, Valdemossa and other parts of the island. And the unique train trip to Soller is a must! There are public tennis courts in Santa Ponsa and the Santa Ponsa Country Club is a haven for players - also hosting top class tournaments. Mallorca attracts cyclists who are well catered for with designated cycle tracks. The hills around the island also offer attractive walks, both strenuous and easy - with guide books available to show the routes.

Accessibility

Santa Ponsa has become even more accessible to visitors with the extension of the motorway: the airport is now a mere 20 minutes away. Our lovely apartment is about 2-3 minutes from the junction. There is no need to hire a car as there are plenty of taxis available and a very good bus service linking Santa Ponsa with the rest of the island. We can help with transfers from the airport, using a reputable service. We can also recommend a local car hire company which offers 10% discount to our guests.

Golf Information:

There are 3 golf courses within a short distance and those of Bendinat, Poniente and Andtrax a little further away. Santa Ponsa itself offers Santa Ponsa I (par 72 course) II and III.
