This is a modern apartment finished in a rustic style with exposed beams and an open fireplace in the living room. The property is situated in a small complex (with communal pool) in a hillside setting and nestling in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. Ideal for walkers! There are excellent mountain views from the terrace at the rear of the property which is accessed via French doors from either the living room or one of the 2 spacious bedrooms. Both bedrooms have quality fitted wardrobes with plenty of storage space. The kitchen is also well-fitted and is open plan to the living area. Although located in a peaceful and tranquil setting, the excellent bars and restaurants of the picturesque port are only about 10 minutes walk away. The terrace at the local 'Nautilus' bar has breathtaking Mediterranean views (and great food!). The apartment has an air-conditioning unit in the living room which can also be used as a heater during the cooler winter months.

Excellent accomodation in a lovely place

We have just returned from our second lovely holiday at this apartment. The apartment is excellently equipped, immaculately clean, well maintained and homely. I have 2 children (5 & 7) who had no problem whatsoever with the steps to or from the apartment, so be aware they are there but certainly not put off by them. Steve, the owner is exceptionally helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Pedro, the property manager in Port de Soller is friendly and helpful too. Port de Soller is a beautiful place and is well placed for the places surrounding to visit. We hired a car for this visit and would do so again. The beach is ideal for children and the rocks pools great fun! We cannot fault this apartment and would definatley recommend it. We will, without a doubt use it again.

A very nice stay in Puerto de Soller

We can highly recommend this property to others. It is nice, clean and very well equipped. The description is accurate regarding location, facilities and size. Puerto de Soller is perfect for relaxing as well as activities such as walking/hiking and excursions. A very nice resort. You can visit the lovely nearby villages Fornalux, Deia, Valldemossa and of course Soller.

We had a fantastic holiday at this apartment, one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. It is very spacious and airy making you feel very relaxed as soon as you enter the door. The views are spectacular and if you like mountains this is the place for you. The apartment was spotlessly clean and maintained.The welcome pack made late arrival hassel free and with masses of storage it was no problem where to put anything. Our daughter was having to do some studying for her examinations and she actually said it was easier to revise here than at home as she felt so relaxed. The surrounding area has lots to offer particularly if you had a car like we had which was actually very cost effective. It is quite easy to get down into Port Soller which is a beautiful resort with many great restaurents and a real friendly but quieter atmosphere than most of the other resorts on Mallorca. If you do book this apartment you must go to the Nautilus Bar where the food is fantastic and you can watch the sun set over the bay. Do not be put off by the exchange rate this is exceptinally good value for money. We ate in as well as out at some very nice places without breaking the bank on what was an extra holiday for us due to a special birthday. Steve the owner is an excellent organiser with very good taste in holiday accommodation and we have no hesitation in recommending this to others as we are likely to return ourselves in the future.

a fine base in a fine town

We stayed for 2 weeks in July and were delighted with it. It was very clean and comfortable and the pool was close and excellent. The sea front is not an easy return walk, but it is very quick and easy by car.
The air con. and the quiet situation make for problem-free sleeping. Lovely views from the balcony.There are about 90 steps down to get to the apartment.

Porto Soller apartment

We found the owner Steve to be very helpful and honest about the apartment,which was spacious( it's much bigger than it appears on the photos), well furnished and immaculatly clean and well maintained.Good directions were provided from the airport .Lovely pool ,our children often had it to themselves.A fairly steep walk down into Porto Soller with great views on the way,a car is useful to see more of the area .Public transport is plentiful and cheap from the port area.We enjoyed a trip to Palma on the little train ,used the charming tram to Soller,went to a festival in Soller town,walks along the coast ,rented a pedalo from porto soller beach,went swimming in the sea to the platform.We watched the beautiful sun set from the restaurant by the lighthouse(expensive ).the bar/ restaurant nearest the apartment did good food and has a lovely terrace overlooking the sea.(recommended by the owner)We tried several restaurants in town and can honestly say we never had a bad meal.The local supermarkets stocked all we needed to buy during our stay.
It would be an exellent place to stay at any time of the year as there are some exellent walking/rambling areas all around.
There are 80+ steps down to the apartment from the road and parking area ,this would be difficult for families with very young children , the pool area is near to the apartment ,in a gated area, but not too close so it is always peaceful.
