Stylish mountain side 2 bed apartment in Port Soller

The rental includes cleaning and all linen except beach towels, please bring your own. For 2 week stays an interim linen change and mini-clean are included in the rental. The apartment is light and airy. Fans or heaters are provided depending on the time of year. The apartment is easily accessible from the road, and although car parking is provided it is by no means essential to have a car.

Puerto de Soller, with its perfect semi-circular bay, is one of the only harbours on the North coast of Mallorca. It is newly pedestrianised and traffic free making it even more of a pleasure to sit and sip your coffee or cocktail at one of the many cafes overlooking the sea. The child friendly beaches make it a relaxing venue for both parent and child. There are several carnivals throughout the year, some very specific to the area. The tram to Soller town is both an attraction and a convenience. If you are a cycler you will love it, and if you are a walker you will love it! If you have a need to look further afield take a car or a boat..........and find even more exceptional natural beauty.

Private balcony/terrace, shared outdoor pool

This is a spacious and well maintained apartment in a small hillside development at the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. It has very easy access from the road with reserved parking. The shared pool is large and surrounded by mountainside gardens, sun loungers and chairs. There is a poolside shower for your convenience. The apartment is fully equiped and there are ample wardrobes and storage . From the terrace you can enjoy the morning sun and cooler evenings. There are fans and heaters in every room depending on the season. There are no extra charges and the apartment will be cleaned and ready for you with a 'Welcome Pack' to help you over the first night should you come late in the evening. There are many small supermarkets down by the port and a daily market in Soller. The beach is very child friendly.

Nearby is the Nautilus bar from where you can see the most spectacular sun set whilst sipping your 'sun downer'. A ten minute walk and you are on the pedestrianised port area - a haven for children - where there are a multitude of sea food restaurants and also the normal Spanish fare. You can get a boat from here to otherwise inaccessible beaches, or take the famous San Francisco like tram to the Moorish inland town of Soller (about 5 - 10 minutes) In Soller there is a daily indoor market and many fashion shops. You can also hire cycles here, buy excellent mountaineering shoes and equipment. There is also a train which takes a spectacular route through the mountains to Palma. Travel by car to Palma is about 35 minutes and the famous villages of Deia, Fornalutx, Valdemossa and Biniaraitx are all short drives away. The nearest golf course is the famous San Termens, about 20 minutes drive.

We had wonderful holiday in Port Soller. .. the combination of sea & mountains great...fabulous views from balcony...large, cool, high ceilinged bedrooms with comfy beds, massive wardrobes ,no traffic noise... high pressure shower with ample hot water and comfy lounge with Satellite TV where kids could watch Big Brother.....the good sized pool...most of the time we had to ourselves. And walking distance to Port & shops & restaurants! Nigel, Doreen, Donna & Robert W August 2007. Just to let you know we had a marvellous time in Port Soller. Everything went according to plan, the apartment was perfect, the weather wonderful & Port de Soller must be the best holiday base on the island. Sheila J November 2006 Everything was great. We had really good weather and the flat seemed pretty similar to last year. It was good that there were some basic rations and the bottle of wine was welcome! All in all a fantastic flat.
