Situated in the Alqueria of Fornalutx, in a small group of farmhouses, is this traditional old stone Mallorquin house, faithfully restored, but with all modern conveniences. There is a main house plus two separate Casitas & lovely garden with pool. Completely secluded, it is off the road up a dozen steps & a short walk up a lane of about 30m. Although the property comfortably sleeps 6, the THE MAIN HOUSE IS VERY COSY FOR 2, particularly in the winter. Large wooden gates at the entrance reveal a walled courtyard patio; this leads into an arched traditional Entrada dining room with a wood burning stove & fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom, & sitting room with open fireplace & roof terrace with wonderful mountain views. The Casita is set apart on a terrace above the house in the garden. It has a 5'6' sofa bed with modern bathroom open fireplace, TV. There is also another small poolside Casita with bedroom, bathroom & utility room.

Situated in the Alqueria of Fornalutx. Completely secluded, it is off the road up a dozen steps & a short walk up a lane of about 30m. The main square in the Village of Fornalutx is 5 minutes walk away. The village has an excellent little supermarket open 8am - 8pm except Sundays when it is open 8 am-12 noon for bread and Sunday newspapers. There are 6 restaurants, 3 Cafe/Bars, 2 hairdressers, 2 boutiques and a Pharmacy. There is a bus service to Palma, Soller and the Port of Soller. A tram service from Soller to the Port and a charming electric train to the centre of Palma.

  • Prices are for the property per week in euros for 4-6 persons, extra 100€ per week for additional people
    10 euros per head per week laundry charge.
    20% DISCOUNT FOR 2 PEOPLE.
    Winter lets of 4 or more weeks 450 euros per week.
  • 25% in euros Booking deposit required.The remainder 2 weeks before check-in. Payment details in booking instructions. Unfortunately due to several bad experiences this last season we will require a security deposit of 200 euros and a cleaning/laundry surcharge of 100 euros for families with 2 or more children under 10(the 10 euros per head is included in this). This has not been our previous policy as we had relied on the integrity of our clients which has been somewhat lacking in 2007.

Notes: The wood burning stove in the Entrada also heats the bedrooms in the winter. There are electric radiators in all the rooms. Fans are also available. The thick stone walls keep the house cool in summer and warm in winter. It is an excellent all year round rental especially for walkers in the autumn and spring. There is a dining patio in the courtyard with a barbecue and a secluded pool and garden in the back with sun lounger’s. There is also a roof terrace with stunning mountain views. There is WIFI
