Lovely 2 bedroom Apartment with stunning panoramic sea views
The apartment is in a prime location in the Port of Andratx, with panoramic sea and harbour views. There are two balconies, one off the lounge/dining area and the other off both upstairs double bedrooms. The apartment is immaculate and both tastefully furnished and decorated. It is in a small very well kept community with a swimming pool that has views over the port and harbour. There is a fully fitted kitchen, lounge, dining area with ceiling fans and large balcony and sun awnings, patio furniture on balconies, marble central heating, TV, DVD player, radio & stereo, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is ideal for a totally relaxing holiday. The restaurants, bars, cafes and shops are only a few minutes walk away. The Andratx area is an ideal base to explore the island with beach lovers being spoilt for choice, the beautiful village of San Telmo with its renowned diving and turquoise waters is just 10 minutes away and the dramatic mountainous west coast is within easy reach.

The Port of Andratx area is the undiscovered jewel of Mallorca. The Port is in a natural harbour surrounded by mountains and the waterfront area boasts stunning restaurants, bars, shops and cafes right next to the waters edge. It is very cosmopolitan, and attracts many different nationalities. Many of the restaurants, bars and cafes are open all year round. The choice of food is fantastic, with fresh fish being a speciality, and the prices are very reasonable. The area is renowned as one of the top spots for diving with San Telmo and Dragon island only 10 minutes away. You are spoilt for choice with many different beaches within easy reach. For those of you preferring the tranquillity of the mountains, Andratx is a great starting point to explore the mountainous west coast and the beautiful interior with villages such as Deia. Palma is a fabulous city with the cathedral as its centre point. The Paseo Maritimo (seafront) has numerous tapas bars and cafes.

The property is available on a flexible changeover basis, so that you can take advantage of the many low cost flights that are now available. There is a charge of £50 for final cleaning and linen for each holiday. Additional cleaning and linen is charged at £50 if required. At the end of your holiday we ask that you vacate the apartment by 10.00am in order that the property can be cleaned. Holidays can be booked for both weekly rentals ad also short breaks or long weekends. We recommend that you hire a car for your holiday, as the apartment is 30km's from Palma airport. We can recommend good priced car hire from Europa rent a car. However a taxi cost Euros 40 to and from Andratx. A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. We recommend you take out full holiday insurance, in case of cancellation or curtailment of your holiday.

Notes to the rental rates

We accept payments in either UK Sterling or Euros. Payments can only be made by cheque or bank draft. A non-refundable deposit by cheque of 30% of the total holiday price is required to book the holiday. The final balance is then due 8 weeks prior to departure, together with a separate cheque for the security deposit of £100 or Euros 140. This is to be a separate cheque that is not cashed unless there is damage. This will be returned to your after the apartment has been cleaned.

Our representative in Andratx will meet you at the apartment with the keys and show you around the apartment on arrival and will be your point of contact during your stay. All you need to do is to telephone him on arrival in Palma and he will arrange a time to meet you at the apartment.

There is a discounted £55 additional charge for cleaning and linen for each booking. If your require any additional cleaning and linen change, this will be charged at the same rate.

| Notes: | The apartment is in a beautiful setting and is ideal for many different people. If you are looking for a holiday in a quiet location then this is it. The views from the south facing balconies are amazing and the sunsets incredible. The access to the apartment is via secure gate from a quiet road into a communal area, then a further gate into the apartment. The swimming pool is very quiet and has sun loungers, there are outstanding views of the harbour which can be enjoyed whilst swimming! The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, have direct access to the balcony and both have ceiling fans. There are two bathrooms: one upstairs with two basins, a shower and toilet. The second bathroom has a basin, shower and toilet and is accessed from the stairs. The property is built in a very tasteful classic Mediterranean style, and is cool in the summer and has marble radiator electric central heating in the winter. |
Golf in Mallorca
The apartment is situated only 5 minutes away from the Golf course at Camp de Mar(Golf de Andratx), and only 10 minutes away from the three courses near Santa Ponsa and other championship courses Son Vida being the main one.
Diving
This area of Mallorca is one of the best areas in the Mediterranean. The village of San Telmo is 10 minutes away with it's turquoise waters, and the diving off Dragon island is second to none. Dive boats are based out of the Port of Andratx, and air is available 5 minutes from the apartment.
Beaches
There is a beautiful small beach 8 minutes walk from the apartment. This has been recently landscaped over the winter of 2006/2007 and is now even better. For those of you looking for turqoise water and white sand then then you can catch a small boat 10 minutes walk from the apartment to the fabulous bay of San Telmo. San Telmo has the most incredible turqoise water and fantastic fish restaurants overlooking the small bay. The beautiful beach of Camp de Mar is only 10 minutes away plus a host of others within easy reach.
Golf Information:
The nearest course is Golf De Andratx Course one of 17 golf courses on Mallorca. There's a driving range, putting green and practice ground. Golf clubs and buggies are available to hire and there are Golf Pro's on hand for lessons. There are 7 Golf Courses within a 10 minute drive of Camp De Mar including the Son Vida course which hosts the Spanish Open Championships. All the courses have excellent club dining and bar facilities. Most of the golf courses have magnificent views over the Mediterranean. Your favourite sport can be played all year round as there is no real winter here. The short distances between the courses tempt one to make a tour of the Island to play on all of the courses.

We stayed here in this two bedroom apartment in Port Andratx, Mallorca, in late
July '05 and had a fabulous holiday. Port Andratx is beautiful - a small
port nestling in some spectacular foothills. The harbour and yacht club
provide spectacular viewing if boats are of interest. If food and drink is
your thing, I'd recommend Maria Del Alma and Il Grilllo, both within 2 mins of the yacht club (club de vela).
Drive into San Telmo (10 mins) and visit Restaurante Na Caragola for even
more fabulous views and the best sea food we ate all week. The apartment
itself was perfect. Two beds and two baths with two sun terraces offering
unbelievable views of the harbour thanks to its elevated position. The pool
was excellent - clean and well-kept. The apartment is situated in a small
complex that shares some sensible ground-rules in terms of neighbourly
respect. The outcome is a very pleasant environment, where the only noise
after 11:00pm is the crickets.
