Once the home of two renowned British artists, the property is located on the outskirts of Fornalutx, though within easy walking distance of this award winning picturesque village. Fornalutx, meaning 'oven light',originally a moorish hamlet.Located in the middle of the Serra Tramumtana mountain range, near the interesting town of Soller and beautiful village of Binaraitx. Surounded by terraced citrus orchards and olive groves, positioned on the side of a valley.The village has frecuently won national awards for its astounding, and unspolit beauty. Ideal for mountain excursions/walks during the winter, and close to the sea at Puerto de Soller, cala Tuent, Calobra, and cala de Deia for bathing and various nautical activities during the summer. Soller is a short drive down the valley and features various architectural styles, a beautiful tram link to the Puerto and an inchanting/historical train to Palma. Almost all shopping can be done within the town. Palma, the capital of the island is a 35 minute drive, partially though a mountain tunel, which features a wealth of cultural and comercial activities to suit all tastes.
