A tastefully restored old traditional stone built 'finca' on four floors. Set within 3000m2 of terraced orange orchards offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains of the sierra Tramuntana. Once the home of two renowned British artists, the property is located on the outskirts of Fornalutx, though within an easy 5 minute walking distance of this award winning picturesque village and a 3 minute walk to a nearby good Mallorcan restaurant. The interior is decorated in a simple warm rustic manner and is furnished with contemporary furniture, many interesting watercolours and oil paintings and also numerous Mallorcan antiques. This popular, incomparable beautiful house with tremendous character provides accommodation for seven guests and features mature surrounding gardens and patios covered by pergolas. It also has an 11m x 4m mosaic swimming pool, and a covered terrace area situated within the orange groves. A secluded and stunning property for an enjoyable holiday.

Fornalutx, meaning 'oven light',originally a moorish hamlet.Located in the middle of the Serra Tramumtana mountain range, near the interesting town of Soller and beautiful village of Binaraitx. Surounded by terraced citrus orchards and olive groves, positioned on the side of a valley.The village has frecuently won national awards for its astounding, and unspolit beauty. Ideal for mountain excursions/walks during the winter, and close to the sea at Puerto de Soller, cala Tuent, Calobra, and cala de Deia for bathing and various nautical activities during the summer. Soller is a short drive down the valley and features various architectural styles, a beautiful tram link to the Puerto and an inchanting/historical train to Palma. Almost all shopping can be done within the town. Palma, the capital of the island is a 35 minute drive, partially though a mountain tunel, which features a wealth of cultural and comercial activities to suit all tastes.

    There is a 25% discount on bookings for 1 month or more during the winter months.

    Subject to availability there is a 25% discount for bookings made 1 week prior to arrival during the low and mid season period.
    The property is cleaned before and after each booking.
    There is an end cleaning and laundry charge of 100 euros per rental, payable on departure.
  • A non refundable booking deposit of 25% is payable on reservation.The balance being payable 1 month prior to occupancy commencement.
    On payment of the balance a returnable deposit of 150 UK pounds is payable to cover any breakages or damage.
  • Change over day is preferably Saturdays, but is flexible if required. Check in time is after 3pm, and checkout time is before 10am.Available all year round.
