Luxury villa in a small, high quality estate built in the Mediterranean style. The terrace looks directly on to the fairway of the Andratx golf course. Beyond that are views of lush wooded hillside and the Camp de Mar bay. There are 3 swimming pools to choose between. The sheltered sandy beach of Camp de Mar is 5 minutes walk away as are a good selection of bars and restaurants. The picturesque fishing village of Puerto Andratx with more bars, clubs and restaurants is a few minutes drive. The villa is very comfortable with plenty of space throughout and furnished to the highest standard. Indeed the shower in the master bedroom is large enough to take the whole family in one go! Not that you would need to as there are 2 bathrooms.

Camp de Mar is 30 minutes drive from Palma. A fast road makes this an easy journey. Palma offers many attractions including its magnificent cathedral, Miro art museum, shopping and restaurants. Camp de Mar is a small, relatively undeveloped, family orientated resort with several excellent bars and restaurants. The main bay is sheltered from the wind and has a white sandy beach complete with picturesque restaurant located on a small island in the bay and reached by a wooden jetty. There are plenty of hidden coves for swimming and snorkeling. Tennis and golf are both within walking distance. Neighbouring Puerto Andratx has many quayside restaurants, bars, clubs and upmarket boutiques. As soon as you leave the resort and head inland you will find wooded hills and several unspoilt traditional villages such as S'Arraco, Calvia and Capdella.

Notes: The house is furnished to a very high standard and is spacious and comfortable. Upstairs both bedrooms have balcony's, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space and en suite bathrooms. The master bathroom has double sinks, a large shower, toilet and bath. The second bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. The lounge and dining area are bright and airy and the outside terraces are large enough for separate dining, BBQ, sunbathing and coffee table areas. The terraces are also a secure area for young children. The nearest of the three community pools is literally just across the path.

Children's facilities: The house is ideal for children as it is difficult for them to get lost and the pool is right next to the house allowing parents with older children to relax on a private sun terrace yet have their children only 1 minute away. The pool has a steps leading into the pool and a shallow end. There are swings on the beach and a children's playground immediately behind the beach. The sea remains shallow for a good distance and the water in the bay is mainly calm. There are many rock pools suitable for investigation and excellent snorkeling opportunities.

Family fun

We stayed first week in October with my two toddlers. It was very clean and well presented and very well furnished with good quality modern furniture. The large balcony as safe and there was plenty of extras which were a great help such as highchair, cot, childrens dvds and even bucket and spade.
The villa was perfect for two little ones with some good swings nearby and the swimming pools were very clean. The parking is close by to the villa as well.
The owner was very easy to deal with and the directions were excellent.
The resort is ideal for a young family. I did like to have a car but it is not necessary as the best beach is Camp de Mar and the beach resort (yellow stripes) sorry name escapes me - is ideal for a childrens supper and a glass of wine.There is also swings on the far side of the beach hugely recommended.
We will return as it was just fantastic and the weather was very hot although told that is not always the case in the first week of October although pleasant.

Villa Zumbido - beautiful and lovely location

This is the second time that I have stayed at this villa with my family and both holidays were wonderful. The villa is very spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the golf course. There isnt much of a view other than the golf course due to some tall trees and bushes in front of the villa, this is vital though and prevents unwanted golf balls landing on the balcony. The villa is beautifully maintained with everything that you require when on holiday. We used the pool closest to the villa and even though you dont have your own pool, a lot of the times we were in the pool by ourselves. The complex is about 10mins walk from the beach and always feels safe and quiet, both during the day and at night. The beach is very picturesque and clean. Camp de Mar itself is a fairly small resort with a few bars and restaurants on the beach front - our favourite was Petit Bar where we could have a drink at nightime but still take the children with us and watch them play on the sand whilst we enjoyed our drinks. We didnt eat out a lot as it was easier to use the bbq at the villa due to the young age of our children, also it is quite expensive to eat and drink out at the moment with the euro exchange rate. The nearest supermarket is about 5mins drive away in Peguera and you do need a car to get there. We didnt do any sightseeing this year as we just wanted to be in the pool or on the beach but last year we did explore Port d'Andratx, about 10mins away in the car, a very pretty cosmopolitan town with a fantastic marina and expensive restaurants. I would recommend this villa and resort to someone wanting a quiet restful holiday and wishing to spend time on the beach and in the pool.

We stayed in a perfect, nice en clean villa.
All technical facilities were functioning. The interior decoration and furniture were modern and comfortabel. (including the bed- and bathrooms).
The terras with view of the surrounding was fabulous. The beach and shops are on walking-distance.
We had a perfect vacation and will be back again.

Accurate description given of villa.
A good situation in a well kept development, the villa is tastefully furnished, very well equipped with many extras which enhanced our holiday.
The L-shaped patio which wraps around the living area on the ground floor had a coffee area, BBQ, sun loungers and a dining area ensuring sun all day. We enjoyed daily breakfasts and many lunches outdoors.
Camp de Mar itself has much to offer – beach/restaurants/cafes/boutiques and a pasteleria - all within easy reach and provided you are reasonably fit you could walk to most.
We had a hired car but still walked and used the bus.
A little further away, Peguera and Port D’Andraix make interesting visits.
The owner was most accommodating, very pleasant to deal with and we would certainly return.
