Luxury 2 bed villa on golf course close to beach

Brand new villa in a small, high quality estate built in the Mediterranean style. The terrace looks directly on to the fairway of the Andratx golf course. Beyond that are views of lush wooded hillside and the Camp de Mar bay. There are 3 swimming pools to choose between. The sheltered sandy beach of Camp de Mar is 5 minutes walk away as are a good selection of bars and restaurants. The picturesque fishing village of Puerto Andratx with more bars, clubs and restaurants is a few minutes drive. The villa is very comfortable with plenty of space throughout and furnished to the highest standard. Indeed the shower in the master bedroom is large enough to take the whole family in one go! Not that you would need to as there are 2 bathrooms.

Camp de Mar is 30 minutes drive from Palma. A new road currently being built may well cut 10 minutes off this. Palma offers many attractions including its magnificent cathedral, Miro art museum, shopping and restaurants. Camp de Mar is a small, relatively undeveloped, family orientated resort with several excellent bars and restaurants. The main bay is sheltered from the wind and has a white sandy beach complete with picturesque restaurant located on a small island in the bay and reached by a wooden jetty. There are plenty of hidden coves for swimming and snorkeling. Tennis and golf are both within walking distance. Neighbouring Puerto Andratx has many quayside restaurants, bars, clubs and upmarket boutiques. As soon as you leave the resort and head inland you will find wooded hills and several unspoilt traditional villages such as S'Arraco, Calvia and Capdella.

Notes:

The house is new and furnished to a very high standard and is spacious and comfortable. Upstairs both bedrooms have balcony's, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space and en suite bathrooms. The master bathroom has double sinks, a large shower, toilet and bath. The second bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. The lounge and dining area are bright and airy and the outside terraces are large enough for separate dining, BBQ, sunbathing and coffee table areas. The terraces are also a secure area for young children. The nearest of the three community pools is literally just across the path.

Children's facilities

The house is ideal for children as it is difficult for them to get lost and the pool is right next to the house allowing parents with older children to relax on a private sun terrace yet have their children only 1 minute away. The pool has a steps leading into the pool and a shallow end. There are swings on the beach and a children's playground immediately behind the beach. The sea remains shallow for a good distance and the water in the bay is mainly calm. There are many rock pools suitable for investigation and excellent snorkeling opportunities.

Golf Information:

The house overlooks the 16th fairway of the Andratx golf course. It is an excellent links course and the club also has a driving range, practice putting green and professionals on hand to give lessons. All of this is in walking distance. The club house also has a very good restaurant with fantastic views. Green fees are between 50-70 euros per round and similar to the other courses nearby.
