Can Mayol is a traditionally built and beautifully furnished two bedroom (plus loft) Finca set amongst a stunning garden of citrus fruits, olive terraces and a tiny vineyard. The Finca is sited in a peaceful location with magnificent views across the valley and the Tramuntana Mountains from all four terraces, and enjoys a large private and secluded salt water swimming pool. The internal layout is spacious and bright, with exposed beams throughout, and rooms are well proportioned with excellent living space and tasteful furnishings. It is but a 2 minute's walk to the pretty village square with its church, bars, shops and many restaurants and supermarket. This is a fantastic area for walking or just relaxing whilst enjoying the marvellous views and local hospitality. The two local beaches at Port de Soller are a 6 - 10 minute drive. House in Fornalutx, Mallorca. Beautiful Detached Finca with extensive gardens and terraces and large private swimming pool (23 x 15ft). Stunning Mountain/Valley Views. It is but a 2 minute walk down to the main Plaza/Square with its many restaurants, bars, shops and small supermarket. There are many beautiful and interesting walks and trails to follow from the door and the nearby town of Soller and the Port of Soller offer everything you could need for either a relaxing or activity filled holiday. The Port of Soller is the closest beach and is reached within 6-10 minutes by car, set in front of a pedestrianised boulevard of open air cafes, restaurants and shops. The marina and harbour to the other side of the port is always full of activity and luxury boats. A fun way to reach the Port is by the historic open tram from the centre Soller. There are many fiestas throughout the island over the course of the year and Fornalutx and Soller are great places to soak up the atmosphere.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Booking notes. 50% deposit required on booking. This will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of the rental date. Outside this period half will be refunded. The balance is payable 3 weeks before arrival or by arrangement on arrival.

    Cleaning is charged at 20 euros per head per stay and is undertaken once ready for your arrival.
    Included is all linen and towels (as well as large pool towels)
    Linen and house towels are replenished weekly
    Pool towels are replenished per stay.

    A fully refundable 150 Euro deposit will be required against breakages and damage.

    For winter lets, the wood for the fires is charged at cost and delivered in bulk ready for your arrival.

    The Finca ideally sleeps 6 but can extend to 7/8 people by arrangement. Supplements will apply to persons 7 & 8.

Spiral Staircase leading to Loft Suite. Bedroom 2 with extra large double bed (can be separated - twin beds) leading onto a private Citrus Terrace overlooking the Mountains & Village. Large en suite bathroom and separate dressing area. The Loft Suite with double bed is galleried (above Bedroom 1). Accessed via a spiral staircase and edged with intricate balustrade, it boasts a very private decked balcony for leisurely mornings and provides separate entry/access onto the top olive tree terraces. Large en suite bathroom. All bedrooms are finished in wrought iron, teak and crisp linen. A small double sofa bed is also provided in the lounge.

Notes: The Lounge is tastefully designed in solid teak and textiles, with ample seating and a feature wood burning fireplace. It boasts beautiful views across the Mountains and opens onto a large terrace overlooking the garden and pool for the early evening sun. The Dining Room has original stone flooring and water well (secure!) with a wood burning fireplace, comfortably seating 6/8. The adjacent kitchen is hand built and fully fitted and equipped with a small breakfast bar. It leads onto a separate breakfast/lunch terrace framed and clad with a pergula of wisteria, honeysuckle and bougainvillea giving access to the adjoining utility room. With the galleried loft and lounge sofa bed, the Finca sleeps 7/8 guests. The gardens are terraced with an abundance of fruit for fresh breakfast juice!, hammocks for lazy days, tiny vineyard and large secluded pool. Regrettably due to the hillside terrain, levels and age of the Finca and gardens, we would not recommend for active toddlers. No smoking

Notes on accommodation: - We truly want your visit to Fornalutx to be memorable and will endeavour to make your stay at Can Mayol as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Please let us know if you have any special requirements. In the interest of other guests and their children, please note this is a strictly no smoking home. Due to the location of the property, access and various terraces etc, as well as the internal layout, we would not recommend for active toddlers. Access Routes to the Finca: - Access up from the main plaza is via a cluster of local houses clad with bougainvillea & the church. Alternatively a small track from the parking area in the village brings you to within 60 metres of the Finca of shallow steps. Finally, steps from the road above the village lead you down a footpath to the houses & plaza. 3 car parks in the village, Pay and Display. The majority of the time there are also car spaces on the roadside above the houses
