In the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range is an area known as Es Raiguer. It is made up of 11 towns and villages that still maintain the character and atmosphere of years gone by. Of great cultural and historical interest, these towns and villages have preserved their traditions, and their cultural and historical heritage. Buger, a small hill-top village, is part of the Es Raiguer. It is typically Mallorcan and is an ideal location for those people who want to get away from it all.

Overall Layout Comments

All rooms in the house are extremely spacious and architecturally beautiful with beamed ceilings, whitewashed walls, etc.. On the ground floor an open plan dining/living area leads through an elegant archway to the kitchen area. Original double doors take you from the kitchen to the cobbled terrace, BBQ, and pool area. Shade is provided by wild olive trees and the balcony. The lighting in and around the pool and terrace areas creates a lovely relaxing atmosphere for al fresco evening dining. A twin bedroom and bathroom are also situated on the ground floor. On the 1st floor there is a 2nd living room with TV for video/DVD use and CD hi-fi player. There are double doors opening out onto the large balcony and roof-terrace areas that have spectacular views to the mountains and sea. The balcony takes you to the pool area, and the roof terrace. The 3 bedrooms and 2nd bathroom on the half-landing and 1st floor are beautifully furnished including antique furniture.

Lower Terrace Area

The lower terrace area of the garden has a small 'play' area with a swing-ball, basket-ball hoop, and net and ball area for informal (i.e. no marked-out courts!) badminton or volleyball.

Beautiful Villa & Wonderful Holiday Location

Beautiful Villa with lovely heated pool and wonderful views. Very well equiped (all kitchen appliances, washing machine & BBQ) and ideally situated to explore the north of Mallorca.

Very nice Bakery within 5 minute walk, which we visited every morning for breakfast, also bars and local shops in walking distance.

We went as two families, each with a 1 year old toddler. Would recommend you hire / buy a stair gate for the stone stairs, but otherwise very well suited with a lovely open plan area downstairs for the little ones to run around and play. Pool has steps leading to a shallow end and we had it heated to bath temperature, which was lovely for the little ones and we all had a morning dip each day. The Pool can be closed off with a gate for safety.

All rooms were very well sized and comfortably furnished with two bathrooms with shower and bath.

Would definately recommend for anyone, as there is even one bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Would recommend car hire, especially to reach the lovely beaches in the area.
