This modern house which is furnished throughout to the highest standard is part of a small select complex of only 8 houses located in the chic resort of Cala d'Or. It has a light and airy atmosphere having good sized rooms with patio doors opening out from the lounge onto the large partially covered private terrace which is ideal for al-fresco dining and sunbathing whilst overlooking the good sized communal swimming pool and landscaped gardens. The house is only a 5 minute stroll to the centre of Cala Egos where there is a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops, childrens activity area, booking agents for numerous excursions on Mallorca and a bank with cash points. It is only a 10 minute stroll to the beaches of Cala Egos and Cala de Sa Galera and the spectacular marina of Cala d'Or which has numerous restaurants overlooking the marina. The house has a private drive providing off road parking for 3 to 4 cars.

The chic resort of Cala d'Or lies on the South East coast of Mallorca approximately 40-45 mins from the large modern airport of Palma. Cala d'Or is a purpose built resort originating from a small fishing village and yet still retains a quiet relaxing atmosphere. The resort has now spread over approximately 4km of seven small pine fringed sandy coves but still has the feeling of a small village due to the carefully managed building controls which include a limit on building height. The house is but a 20 minute walk to the centre of Cala d'Or passing the spectacular marina. Although you do not require a car in the resort, a car would enable you to explore the island and take in it's history and architecture whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.

  • The property is privately owned and a security deposit of £200 is required. This security deposit is required to reimburse the property owner in case of breakages, loss or damage to furnishings, bedding, keys or the property due to neglect, such as leaving the property in an insecure manner. The security deposit will be returned to the Client within 14 days of the last day of the holiday providing the property management company provides a clear inspection and the key has been returned. Clients will not be charged for what is considered minor wear and tear.
  • - A welcome pack comprising basic essentials of water, bread, butter and toilet rolls etc is provided, plus a bottle of wine.

    - The cot is a travel cot and is available at no extra charge. However, Clients will need to provide their own bedding for this cot.

    - The child bed is a 'readybed'.

    - A high chair is also provided at no extra charge.
  • - The cleaning service is weekly but can be tailored to suit your individual needs at a small extra charge payable locally.

    - A steam iron, ironing board and clothes airer/dryer are also provided.

Notes: The master and second twin bedrooms are located on the first floor and each has en-suite facilities. The master bedroom has king sized bed, a private roof terrace which also provides access to the main roof terrace. The master bedroom en-suite has a shower, bath, WC, bidet, twin washbasins, and a hair dryer is also provided. The second bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The second bedroom en-suite has a shower, WC and washbasin. The third twin bedroom is located on the ground floor with the third bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, bath, WC and washbasin. All bedrooms and the lounge have views overlooking the gardens and pool area. The remaining ground floor accommodation consists of a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, dining room and a large living room with two sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped including a toaster, cafetiere and juicer etc. A large table, 8 chairs, 8 sunbeds & BBQ are provided on the terraces.

Additional Information on Cala Egos: Information on airport transfers to the house and car hire either from the airport or actually in Cala d'Or can be provided on request. Within a 5 minute stroll there are 3 supermarkets, a bank with cash points, public telephone, numerous small bars and restaurants, children's play area (which includes go-carting, mini-golf trampolining etc), car hire, taxi rank, bus stop and novelty tourist train into Cala d'Or town centre (some of these are seasonal) and cylce hire shops. There are also several booking agents for arranging excursions to nature parks,glass bottomed boats, dolphinarium and water parks etc. There is a regular air conditioned bus service to Palma and most other major towns on Mallorca with the bus stop only a 2 to 3 minute stroll from the house. There is also a Doctor and Pharmacy for any minor medical problems.

Sports Enthusiasts: During the peak season of June, July, August and September the changeover day is Saturday, for all other times it is negotiable. For the sports enthusiast, floodlit tennis courts at the Cala d'Or Tennis Club are located only a 3 to 5 minute stroll away. Scuba diving can be arranged at several locations in Cala d'Or or in the adjacent small coastal village of Porto Petro. Porto Petro is a delightful village with it's own small marina and selection of restaurants, it is only a 20 to 30 minute stroll or 5 minute car ride from the house.

In Cala Egos, which is a 5 minute walk from the house, there is a Doctor and Pharmacy for any little medical problems.

Other Activities: Tenpin bowling, indoor swimming pool with gymnasium and childrens activity area with mini go carting, mini golf, trampoline etc,

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY

We have just returned from our 5th stay in Cala Egos and this villa was by far the best!! Already booked for next year!!
Contact with the owner was very efficient. The villa was exactly as described in the advert and very clean when we arrived. It had everything we could want and more and was very tastefully furnished to a high standard. Spacious, light and airy, the perfect retreat!
The pool is shared between 8 villas, but we had it all to ourselves most of the time.
Cala Egos is a quiet resort but only 15 minutes stroll to the busier resort of Cala D'Or. 2 lovely beaches and lots of good restaurants, bars and shops within 5-10 minutes of the villa.
We would definately recommend this property but don't try and book our week next year!!

Fabulous villa in Cala d'Or

This was a fantastic find! We are looking to move to Cala D'or next year and this property totally convinced us! We will definitely be booking again...the property itself was spacious, well-equipped and home from home. We were all really impressed with the location, surroundings and the pool area felt very private. Can't say enough great things about the kind hospitality and helpfulness of Keith and Sue before, during and after the trip. Highly recommend everyone to book! Although, please don't book when we want go next year!

Fabulous oasis excellent for families

We had a really super time at this villa. The accommodation was very good, the pool warm and grounds well maintained. The small complex of villas was very peaceful and ideally located, an easy stroll from the marina and a bit further to the main resort. Montrago beach is absolutely stunning and well worth a visit.

The villa had everything you could possibly need and is ideal for families travelling with small children as there is a cot and high chair. The three bedrooms were very nice although the master bed was a little on the small side if you are used to a super kingsize like we are!!

Can't really fault it.
