La Villette is one of three traditionally built houses on the edge of the village. Its dining terrace commands uninterrupted views of the Tramuntana mountain range with ancient olive terraces. The lower terrace overlooks a private pool with poolside shower & fridge. The house is beautifully decorated in a comfortable contemporary style with original art works & interesting design details. The layout is contemporary with open plan living on the top floor including a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher & washing machine. Downstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, two with double king sized beds and the third with twin beds. Every room in the house opens out onto a balcony or terrace. There are two luxury bathrooms with bath/shower & bidet & a cloakroom on the upper floor. The house has central heating & air-conditioning

Voted the prettiest village in Spain, Fornalutx lives up to its reputation in a relaxed way. Its cafes and restaurants offer good, unpretentious food in friendly surroundings. The village has an excellent, well stocked grocery shop as well as a very good bakery. The Port of Soller, fast becoming a very exclusive holiday spot, is only ten minutes away by car and offers excellent restaurants and an impressive beach. Port of Soller is linked to Soller by a tram system brought from San Fransico and there are spectacular views of the coastline from the lighthouse . Fornalutx is an ideal destination for walkers, offering picturesque scenery

Outside the property: The garden has its own swimming pool and poolside seating area as well as a private terrace to the side of the house and two large balconies suitable for outside dining. The village tennis court is across the road from the house.

Additional Information: The centre of Fornalutx village with cafes, restaurants and shops is a five minute walk away.

Conditions: The house has a non smoking policy. We encourage families to bring small children as long as parents are careful.

This is an outstanding villa - clean, finished to a very high standard, and fully stocked with everything you need to a family holiday. The design of the villa is excellent, and it has the charm of an original village building, with all the comforts of a new build. The setting is ideal - a short walk to the village square and restaurants, which are all excellent and very child friendly. You can get everywhere in the village without navigating any steps - ideal if you have prams to push around. The pool is not heated, not a problem in the hight of summer I'm sure, but a bit of a challenge in the spring.

This villa is really special. The pictures don't actually do it justice. It's clean, smartly presented with attention to detail. The views from the balcony are fabulous.
Staying in Fornalutz is a great location. It's a friendly village and beautiful. There's a good food shop which sells croissants and tasty sausages and cheese. Good restaurants. Sitting in the village square with an ice cream watching the local kids playing was a lovely memory for us.
There's loads of wonderful walks to do from your doorstep and Soller is great to explore. You don't need to get in the car for the holiday.
