This country house conveniently located between the towns of Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa. A compact house, built on one level. Can Reig provides comfortable accommodation that is ideal for a couple. One step take you up to the entrance where you will find homely well-maintained interiors that included lounge kitchen/diner, a rustic style twin bedroom and bathroom. The house is fully equipped. Set in an attractive garden, the house boasts a large swimming pool with walk in roman steps, ample sun terracing, covered porch and purpose built barbecue, which makes it an ideal spot for relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying the delicious al fresco meals.

The picturesque countryside around Pollensa is a colourful mixture of fertile fruit orchards and lightly wooded glades, bordered by hills to the south and dramatic rocky outcrops of Mallorca's northern mountains. Contained within ten square kilometres, the region stretches along the coast to Alcudia from the golden beaches of Puerto Pollensa and inland to the quaint, historic small town of Pollensa itself. To the north the shores of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia are fringed with kilometres of golden sand with water sports and ideal sun bathing for the more relaxing holiday. Both Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa offer a good selection of restaurants, ranging from cafes and tapas bars to fine dining. Pollensa, apart from its pretty square has the Via Crucis which is a notable attraction with its long stairway which ascends Calvary Hill, from which there are superb views over the coast. Puerto Pollensa is a pretty, unaffected resort that is a firm favourite with families.

It is easy to understand why Mallorca is a firm favourite with holiday makers of all age groups. From the beauty of the stylish resorts such as Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia along it's northern shores, to the more hectic lifestyle of the west coast and the golden coves of Cala D'Or towards the south, this wonderful island allows you to be as lively or relaxed as you want to be. Situated approximately 50 metres from the road, noise level does not keep you awake at night.
Very nice villa, with a modern kitchen/diner. Compact sitting room. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and the adjoining bathroom is large, clean and modern.
The recently installed air conditioning/heating units were a definite plus and worked very well.
The outside space is very nice, the swimming pool area is surrounded by lovely gardens. It has a BBQ area with plenty of choice for sitting. Outside the main entrance is also a covered terrace which we found useful for breakfast.
We stayed for 8 nights and had the towels changed once and the villa was also cleaned.
The supermarket was a 5 minute walk away and so was one of the restaurants we frequented, there were some nice restaurants up in the old town. We did leave cards for these in the blue book provided.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and have no problem in recommending it.

Noisy house by busy main road. Could be forgiven but the damp and smell in the house was so bad I have a bad bout of bronchitis since.
The problems seem to arise from unfinished building work on the bathroom exterior. The terrace is too high and rain penetrates the bedroom wall. Also there is a leak from the ajourning property through the bedroom ceiling.
I told the owners and their representitive but they made nothing of it. I am trying to contact the mallorcan authorities to report this matter.
Needless to say I would not recommend this house to anyone.

The garden, and swimmingpool with terrace, is situated next to a busy road with the constant noise of traffic passing, not very relaxing for a holidays... All rooms look out at the side of the road, this means you have to close the windows and hatches to be able to sleep.
The house is very humid and the bed and matress is of poor quality; we woke up every day with pain in our backs.
I would'nt recommend the house to anybody ! It was so much in contrast with the house we rented in Mallorca last year, Can Pascoli, in the same area, but very quiet located.

The property was just as described and better. It had a large fan we found in the wardrobe, which was more than usefull in August, and every mod con you could wish for in the kitchen. It was very clean and tidy throughout, comfortable and its grounds were well kept.
It is a little out of the way but that is what we wanted and we felt totally safe at all times. 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and 2 or 3 restraurants which weren't the cheapest but were very good. There are lots in Pollensa, its worth a walk around the place as they are not always where you would expect to find them. There is a good bus service to surrounding resorts and to Pollensa on an evening if you don't want to drive, we left the timetable in the welcome folder. It cost us 5 and 5.5 euro for a taxi from Pollensa on the 2 occassions we choose not to drive ourselves on an evening, but leave the lights on for the gate and patio so as the taxi driver can see where to drop you off and you can see to put your key in the door, it is pitch black after sun down.
The only little problem we had with the property was quickly dealt with.
The pool and BBQ area were excellant - 10 metres away, as was the patio imediatley outside the property.
The TV was a little disappointing for us Brits but we didn't go on holiday to watch TV - there is a DVD player.
The washing machine worked well but finding the right programme was a little difficult. Take a washing line line as theirs is very short and some pegs as theirs have seen better days.
Our whole experience from showing an interest in the property to booking it for our 10 days and whilst we were there were first class. We had a great time.

Das Ferienhaus liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße.
Im ganzen Objekt, auch im Haus fühlt man sich wie auf der
Autobahn. Die Einrichtung ist äußerst spartanisch und alt.
Besonders das1,40 m breite Bett ist durchgelegen und muffig, Wir hatten beide Rückenschmerzen. Im übrigen ist
dieser muffige Geruch im ganzen Haus verbreitet, Wir
hatten 14 Tage gebucht und sind nach 5 Tagen in ein
Hotel umgezogen um uns den Uralub nicht ganz zu verderben. Außer Spesen nichts gewesen.
