The lovely village of Santanyi dates from 1300 and has beautiful village square where very good market is held twice weekly year round. The square is dominated by wonderful old church with famous organ played during summer market time. The village has become much more sophisticated recently and provides bakeries, shops, restaurants and cafes, art galleries, ceramic workshops, antique and craft shops, boutiques and all amenities. The house is within 5 mins. drive of some of Mallorcas best beaches reached down winding country roads bordered with stone walls, lovely walks and cycling in area and good restaurants in local countryside. 20 mins drive from Es Trenc beach and good golf (Val d'or) Most importantly, while having all amenties, Santanyi is as far removed from typical tourist resorts as one can imagine.

Cala Santanyi has more tourist attractions in summer – both are within 10 minutes drive. Cala D’or with a marina, tourist shops, night spots and beaches 20 minutes away. Likewise Colonia de San Jordi – lovely seafood restaurants in the harbour in summer. Golf: Vall D’or and Pula – respectively 20 and 50 minutes away (La Rotana and Son Servera – 9 holes closer). NB: Easy village access and house comfort makes it equally suitable for out of season activities.
