Lovely country house surrounded by orange groves & few min from beach
This lovely little house, surrounded by orange and lemon groves, is in a quiet area in the country outside the town of Soller on the North West coast of Mallorca, yet only a few minutes walk to the town square which is full of life and happenings. It has two furnished terraces with lovely views, a small back garden as well as a little garden in the front of the house. The front of the house is to the country road so the terraces and back garden is the most peaceful. The nearness to the town centre and the beach yet away from the noise makes it a very attractive holiday home. This part of Soller valley is called La Huerta which means the garden and indeed it is a lovely place with all its orange and lemon groves, almond and fig trees.

The house is situated in the so called 'la huerta de Soller', translated garden of Soller. It is about 500 metres from from the nearest shop, 300 metres to the nearest bar and 1 km from the nearest restaurant. It is in a residential area but a lot of the land is also used for growing oranges, lemons and other fruit trees. The town square 'La Plaza' with all its shops, bars, cafés and restaurants are in walking distance about a max of 1 km. The beach in puerto Soller is about 2.5 km away but you can jump on the little vintage train which stops 2 minutes from the house which will take you down to the beach or up to the town square.

The North West coast of Mallorca is a great holiday destination with a lot of the genuine Mallorca still to be experienced and enjoyed. There are delightful villages like Deya, Valldemosa to the west and Fornalutx as well as Biniaraix to the east. There are lovely excursions to be made by foot or car or even by bicycle. The Soller orange valley surrounded by the Tramuntana mountain chain is spectacular. The town of Soller and even the port has all you might need for your perfect holiday. You are but 20 minutes away from the nearest golf course in Son Termens, riding, swimming, boating, tennis, boat excursions etc etc. It takes no more than 20 - 25 minutes to drive to Palma.
