Overlooking the beautiful bay of Port Sóller. The Merchant House is a large luxury house with several terraces to catch the sun throughout the day. Built in traditional Mallorcan stone, the house has been tastefully refurbished throughout with climate control in every room, several patios, large living area and private garden with fountain to relax in after a day on the safe, sandy beach or one of the wonderful walks on your doorstep. Fully equipped throughout including loungers, full size table tennis, flat screen TV with SKY, DVD and broadband Wi-fi connection. All four bedrooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms with the master bedroom having it's own large private terrace, the others with balconies with sea and mountain views. The house retains all its original charm and character. Port Soller is only 30 minutes drive from Palma airport and lies in the valley of Soller filled with olive, orange and lemon groves.

Only seconds from restaurants, bars and the beach. Watch the boats against the backdrop of the mountains. The famous vintage trams go back and forth to Soller Town and then to Palma. Excellent boat trips from Port to Sa Colabra. No car necessary and no hills to climb. Suitable for letting all of the year for mountain walking in the Spring and Autumn as well as the beach and boats in the summer. The port is pedestrianised so walking around is a pleasure. Sóller shares its valley with the villages of Fornalutx and the hamlet of Biniaraix. The valley is famous for its orange groves and terraces of ancient olive trees. The village of Deià is just down the coast. Port Sóller is about half an hour's drive from Palma Airport.

Surrounding Area: There are many beautiful villages set in the Soller valley amidst the magnificent Tramuntana mountain range. The village of Fornalutx is recognised as being one of the most charming in Mallorca, and richly deserves its reputation. Soller, the nearest town, is approximately 5 minutes drive away and has a Saturday open market as well as many shops, cafes and restaurants. The famous vintage wooden trams take approximately 10 minutes from Port Soller to reach Soller. Deia and Valldemossa are both within 25 minutes drive along with many other interesting villages and coastal towns. This is an excellent situation for walking holidays. Many famous walks start from Port Soller and there are guides to help you get the best walk to match your fitness level.
