Cala D'or area Majorca (Mallorca), 2 Storey beautiful Villa situated within a small immaculate complex. Air conditioned, with 3 good sized double bedrooms. I ensuite bathroom and 1 family bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen includes Miele dishwasher, Microwave, enormous fridge, electric hob and oven, toaster and kettle. Utility room with washing machine, and tumble dryer. Downstairs toilet, dining area, sitting room, Digital TV, DVD player, Stereo and CD player and I POD docking station. Hairdryer supplied Fantastic terrace onto well manicured gardens and large pool. Upstairs terrace overlooking the gardens, pool and the sea. Direct access to the beach from the front of the complex - 1 minute walk.

This absolutely beautiful Air conditioned apartment on the 2nd (top) floor is all in immaculate condition having been completely refurbished. The bedroom has been newly decorated this year over the winter of 2008/2009 with beautiful curtains and fabulous linen. However, this all pales into virtual insignificance once you step onto the very large terrace that overlooks the clear turquoise blue water of the bay and beach and out to the open sea where you can have breakfast watching all the wonderful yachts leave the Marina entrance in the morning, and enjoy a gin and tonic in the evening and see them return. It consists of 1 bedroom and a stunning bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 fridges, Miele washing machine etc. An open plan living room with integral dining area. The sitting room has a large comfy sofa, digital TV, DVD, CD player and IPOD docking station.

Cala D'or has grown into a sophisticated playground for all types of holiday makers. The Marina area is full of stunning Yachts and Cruisers. The Sea is Turquoise blue and all water activities are available locally. It has the most excellent restaurants and bars, and provides a lively night life for those seeking it. The villa location however is quiet being on the headland of Cala Gran beach with just a short stroll to all amenities. The beach is 1 minute away and the town is approx 7 minutes walk and the Marina approximately 15 minute stroll. The beautiful Val D'or golf course is approximately 10 minutes away by car.

  • Winter lets on this apartment are available at special rates. A refundable deposit of £150.00 will be required, this will be returned within 7 days of your return following confirmation of no damage. Normal wear and tear and small items of breakage will not be deducted.
  • A deposit of £150.00 will be required to hold the dates requested. The full amount is due 8 weeks prior to traveling. There is no additional cancellation charge up until this point except the deposit. 6 - 8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded. 4-6 weeks 20% of rate refunded. Less than 4 weeks no refund.

we stayed in apartment Y in september and had a fantastic time, you can almost role out of bed into the sea, it just doesn't get better than this. the apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday, it's perfect location means it's a two minute walk to the beach but far enough out of the centre to be blissfully quiet at night, yet only a 10 minute walk and you're in the middle of town. the beaches in this area of Majorca are some of the best i've been to, clean crystal clear water and very very pretty as they are small coves. there are approx 6 beaches all within easy distance to the apartment. the view from the balcony is just as beautiful as the pictures, and the apartment complex is small and well kept. the pool was clean and we mostly had it to ourselves most times we used it.
in all a perfect fortnight, which i'm sure we will return to.

Had a great stay in this apartment, fantastic view, very clean and lovey swimming pool very relaxing, just the right distance from the town. Quite a lot of stairs, but well worth it.

Apartment Y with excellent location and views

We spent a week at this apartment in early August and this was our 4th stay within the last 4 or 5 years which speaks for itself.
It is clean and well maintained with all the facilities you would have at home and booking directly with the owner was easy and trouble-free as usual.
Cala d,or is an excellent family resort set around a number of small sandy bays and with a good choice of shops, restaurants and bars.
The apartment is in a quiet area yet within 2 minutes walk of Cala Gran beach and less than 5 minutes stroll to the centre of Cala d,or. There is a large, well equipped terrace with superb views of the beach and out to sea which more than makes up for the climb up three flights of steps to the apartment.
We have told many family and friends about Cala d,or and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, although we feel that accommodating more than 2 people would be a bit crowded.

Chilled Out In Majorca

We stayed in Apartment Y in the middle of July with our 11 year old daughter who used the sofa bed in the lounge. We had an excellent holiday in this lovely apartment which overlooks Cala Gran with lovely views out to sea and of sections of the bay. The apartment is very well equipped with every mod con you could need on holiday including a dishwaher (which is normally me !!!). The apartment is clean and modern with a nice kitchen and bathroom and a big lounge area as well. To be honest we lived on the lovely terrace because the weather was so nice, I would have slept on it but I couldnt get the double bed out of the bedroom. The apartment was clean, well maintained and in a superb position within Cala D'or, It was quiet at night but you only had to stroll 10 minutes to be in the centre of town or down by the marina with a lovely selection of restaurants to chose from. There is a lovely pool and the beach is no more than 100 yards down the hill, brilliant for swimming particularly either early morning or early evening. We really loved our stay in Apt Y and would go back any time we could.

Just returned from a very relaxing week in this great appartment (Y). It has all mod cons including DTV, Fan assisted cooker, Washing Machine, Dishwasher. The views are as stunning as described in other comments and yes, the water really is the same colour as the picture on this site. The appartment and complex in general is very well maintained with a very quiet communal pool area and easy access to the Beach and resort centre where you'll find local restraunts serving a variety of good food at reasonable prices.
I'd say this apartment would suit couples looking for a quiet/romantic getaway or people looking for a base from which to tour the island. Not for anybody with mobility problems though due to the top floor location and the stairs to get there.
