Cala Murada nestles amongst national parkland on the South East coast of Mallorca. This picturesque area is known locally as romantic wild coast. Surrounded by pine forests the village is an oasis of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of other Mallorcan resorts. There is a small-secluded beach with fine sand, which has achieved blue flag status for a seventh consecutive year 2009. Situated between the towns of Porto Colom and Porto Cristo this charming location is ideal for a relaxed family holiday. The quiet little village has a centre with a few small bars and family run restaurants. There are 2 banks, a supermarket, Internet cafe, crazy golf and 2 tennis courts. The houses and villas are tastefully interspersed amongst the pine trees. Near by CALA D'OR, a lively area surrounded by pine-covered headlands and typical whitewashed Spanish buildings. It was formerly a fishing village, and now it is Mallorca’s largest holiday resort. Nearby Felanitx hosts a local Sunday market.
