Marina D'or II is a prestigious development of privately owned properties in a gated community. 2 x 3 bed townhouses (each sleeps 6 people) set amidst tropical gardens with 7 pools. Beautifully furnished offering all the comforts of home and ideal for a family holiday, particularly with children. All amenities e.g. supermarkets, shops, banks, doctors, restaurants, bars etc. all within 5 min walk. The beautiful Marina is a 5 min walk and the closest beach is a 10 min walk. Magnificent pool outside private, walled garden; Master king size bedroom with en-suite upstairs; Double bedroom (shared full bathroom) downstairs; Twin bedroom (shared bathroom) downstairs; Large living room/dining room (seating for 6); Fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher; Separate laundry room; Cot & High chair provided free on request; Luxuriously furnished to a very high standard; Fully air conditioned/heated; Pool showers.

Coast/Beach: There are seven sandy beaches in the vicinity of Cala D'Or, two of which are five minutes walk from the complex. An information folder is left in the house for the use of guests which includes extensive information about the island, activities available, places to visit, train and bus time tables and general information about appliances in the house. Golf: Vall D'or Golf Club, approx 10 minute drive, 2 kms from S'horta. Open all year, 18 holes. Practice range, putting greens, carts for hire, clubs and bags for hire, balls for hire. Golf shop, clubhouse, changing rooms, showers, restaurant, bar, snacks. Views from clubhouse are spectacular. Special interest holidays: Ideal base for cyclists or golfers.

Sports facilities: Val d'Or Golf Club is a 10 minute drive from the house with a fabulous 18 hole course. A new indoor 25 metre laned swimming pool is a 5 minute walk across the road. Also housing a childrens pool and a gym. Next door to the swimming pool is Cala d'Or Tennis Club,. Here you can have lessons or book the court for a game. The island is ideal for cycling and bikes can be hired locally at very competitive rates.

stayed at this lovely villa in Aug 2009. lovely - clean, well kept, everything we needed, fab weather, wonderful pool. ideal property for families with children. patio and garden in front of villa with lockable gate. kids can play there, mum and dad can be in the pool - or vice versa! shallow end of pool right in front of properrty which is also ideal. a toddler pool and shallow pool also a stones throw away on complex. quiet complex, no noise, no idiots. lovely to sit out on the patio or one of the balconies during the evening. about 10 mins walk to Cala Egos side of marina and Cala d'or side about another 10 mins, with central Cala d'or walkable from there also - or you can get the road train about 4 euros return (adult fare) or a cab is about 6 euros. Supermarket 2 mins walk from villa. Cala Egos shops/bars/restaurants also very close and convenient but not really exceptional. could have done with a bit more local info in the villa (think it had been taken out of file by previous guests and hadn't been put back) but apart from that without fault. very friendly and helpful owners and any minor queries (ie. how to programme the safe) were handled by local management company courteously and without delay. cala mondrago during the evening is a must. restaurants on the sand and a jazz trio playing by the water. recommend!
