A contrast exists between the golden beaches of Puerto Pollensa and the quaint, historic old town of Pollensa. There is a good selection of restaurants and tapas bars in both locations. Puerto Pollensa is a firm favourite with families.

The Pollensa Golf Club is open to non-members. The nine-hole courses have been described as some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, with a clubhouse, a restaurant and a swimming pool. The rental of clubs, trolleys and golf cars is available. Tuition can be arranged and there are regular tournaments.
