Especially peaceful, this ground floor house has been completely renovated in Majorca style. Old materials have been used to keep the old character. The modern person has been taken into account and the house is equipped with all the comfort. From the garden, you have a beautiful view over the Tramuntana Mountains. It completely appears rural, due to the location and the sheep grazing in the closely situated meadows. Pollensa centre is situated within 500 m (10 minutes walk) from the house; a lovely village where time seems like it stood still.

A lovely hideaway!

I stayed at Casa Nelly in September 2008 with my mother. An absolutely idyllic location, extremely beautiful and very quiet. The villa itself was extremely well furnished and had all mod cons. My only criticism, and it is a small one, is that we didn't have any hot water during our stay but cold showers are a small price to pay for the peaceful setting, easy access to the road network for travelling around the island, parking directly outside and extremely helpful and accommodating owner! If we'd had hot water it would definitely have been marked a 5 instead of 4 We got lost when we first arrived and he drove and found us on the outskirts of the village!!! I would say that this is probably not the best spot for serious sunbathing as, being a typical majorcan house, it has been built so that it remains fairly shady during the hotter parts of the day. Would definitely recommend for a quiet holiday.

If you want a really fantastic meal, take a drive into Porto Pollensa and try La Llonga on the marina - haven't eaten better food on holiday anywhere else in the world. Tourists would consider it expensive I suppose at around £50 a head but well worth it for the quality of food, ambience and delightful staff - 5 star

The house is actually fully detached, making it very quiet. Parking outside the villa, drive down a short track. Ten minutes walk to the lovely town of Pollenca. Great market there on Sundays. Owner very helpful.
