Puerto Pollensa holiday villa

We have had a wonderful stay at Casa de Reyes, helped by seven days or glorious sunshine. The villa is completely luxurious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The pool was hugely enjoyed by all, especially our two grandchildren, who never wanted to leave it. It's only a short walk (5 minutes) to the sea and a good selection of restaurants. Our favourite was Little Italy, which does wonderful pizzas. Turn left and take a lovely stroll to the hotel at the end of Pine Walk and enjoy a drink on the water's edge terrace and watch the fish swimming in the clear water. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa de Reyes and Puerto Pollensa for a relaxing holiday.

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Puerto Pollensa. Casa de Reyes is a great villa with everything we needed to enjoy a holiday with two young children (both under 2). The accommodation is wonderful. Very spacious and well appointed. The layout makes it very safe as the terrace on the first floor is enclosed so there is no danger of children getting to the pool unsupervised from upstairs. It is very secure and secluded whilst being only a short distance from the beautiful 'Pine Walk' end of the town. The views are superb and we will long remember dining on the terrace with the sun setting over the bay.
My only small criticism of the villa is the lack of any stair gate at the top of the internal stone stairs (we had to reposition a sofa to prevent any accidental falls). The only drawback of the location is the need to cross the main road to reach the beach (there is no crossing point nearby and the high curbs are not very pushchair friendly!)
Overall, absolutely stunning and highly recommended!

We have returned from Puerto Pollensa and had an absolutely brilliant time.
The villa is absolutely stunning, and is in a prime location. It takes about 2 minutes to walk from the villa to the famous Pine Walk, from where you are only a gentle (but extremely pleasant) stroll along the sea front to all the restaurants and bistros that Puerto Pollensa has to offer. It is also well secluded on a small avenue behind the beach, but because it is slightly elevated offers magnificent views over the bay, so perfect for watching sunsets/sipping wine on the balcony etc. The best of all worlds really.
The villa is extremely well decorated, with most of the bedrooms being ensuite and tastefully furnished. It is extremely clean and has obviously been well looked after. The large lounge and dining area are great for family/group gatherings and parties which can spill out onto the vast balcony. The villa has really good outdoor furniture and we found ourselves out on the terrace each evening. The kitchen has 2 huge fridge/freezers, and has everything else that you would need, so if you can stay away from the restaurants then cooking at home is no chore!

The swimming pool is the real centre piece of the villa and a fabulous place to relax after a hard day on the beach and the large downstairs terrace where it is situated has a barbecue which is a must.

Puerto Pollensa is great for all age groups, from 1 to 81 on account of the sheltered bay and extremely pleasant surroundings and scenery. The only group who probably would not like it are young party animals as the nightlife is (luckily for us) for a more sedate crowd.

Puerto Pollensa has much to offer, but if you wish to venture further afield, we enjoyed days out in Soller (seaside town) (45 mins drive), Pollensa (market town with charming square and the biggest flight of stairs you have ever seen!) (5 mins drive) and Formentor (secluded beach) (10 mins drive away). You can also walk straight from the villa to the north coast of the island on a marked trail which leads to the rocky coastline and is a pleasant but marked contrast to the pristine sand beach of the south side. There is also some excellent walking throughout the island, not least on the nearby Cap de Formentor.
