This detached villa is on the outskirts of Puerto Pollensa in the residential area of Siller, which is in walking distance of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and the centre of this lovely beach resort. Uninterrupted views of the mountains and countryside in this peaceful area. The accommodation is all on one level and consists of entrance hallway leading to a spacious lounge / dining room, separate fitted breakfast kitchen. Master double bedroom, with adjacent shower room, two twin bedrooms and family bathroom. All the bedrooms have patio doors to a covered side terrace. The villa is comfortable throughout. Entertainment is provided by satellite TV and a music system. Double patio doors from the lounge lead to a second covered terrace, which offers panoramic views across the mountains. Set within extensive grounds there is a 10m x 4m swimming pool with Roman steps. It is approached via double gates and has off road parking area for at least two cars.

Puerto Pollensa is, without any doubt, one of the most attractive municipalities of the island. It’s for some reason that it was one of the areas where tourism started, besides being a preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of this century. From the scenic point of view, Pollensa is full of contrasts, and a quite big part of the so-called “Sierra de Tramontana” with its steep mountains and its deep valleys, which in many cases end in most beautiful and lonely bays, where the blue of the sea mixes with the grey of the limestone rocks and the brilliant green of the pine trees, is situated within its municipality. Here, the cultural and artistic life never stops. There are a lot of art galleries and beautiful handcraft shops. During nearly all the year one con enjoy a variety of musical events, among which the most famous ones are those that take place in the Santo Domingo Cloister.

Comfortable villa, great pool, lovely views

This property is not the last word in luxury villas and for the price we didn't expect it. What we did find, was a villa that is comfortabley furnished with good sized rooms. All the bedrooms have lots of wardrobe and drawer space and if needed you could store luggage in the utility room.The large kitchen had everything we needed(except a dishwasher) and we cooked several meals during our stay. The back of the property is home to a good sized pool (over a meter deep on all sides) that is set in a lawn. Beyond this, is the owners fruit garden (which he doesn't want people to go into) and the lovely view beyond is of the mountains. The property is only few years old and is kept spotless by attentive owners. It is situated along a dirt road and has plenty of parking space on the property. To the left is another villa but to the right there is just open fields. In general we had very peaceful holiday, however opposite the front of the property is a boat storage/repair yard and we did have the noise of a generator interupt 3 of our afternoons. The villa is in a excellent location being just 5 minutes drive from Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa and 10 minutes from Alcudia.

A perfect holiday!...

We have recently returned from Villa Solar and I must say that it was beautiful. It is located at the end of a farm track surrounded by nothing but country side and a few small villa's and was immensly peaceful. The villa itself was very spacious and spotless when we arrived, with everything we needed. The Villa owner greated us on arrival and popped in during the week to check we were ok and clean the pool, he was a lovely majorcan host and made us feel very welcome. It was a really nice 20 minute stroll into the centre of Puerto Pollensa for dinner and there was a small Spa within 5 minutes walk for all the essentials. We were a party of 6, with an 8mth old baby and found the villa to be a perfect holiday desination that we will definately return too.
