Ca na Maria is in the lovely valley of Cala Santanyi, with the deep white sand beach only 25 metres from the front door, it is an ideal location for a family holiday. Close by are tennis courts and pedaloes for hire, a scuba diving and windsurfing school and diving platform in the bay. The villa has 1 double and 5 twin bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms, 1 more bathroom and a shower room. The large lounge/dining room has French doors opening to a terrace with teak sunloungers, 10 seater table and barbecue. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, fan oven, dishwasher, microwave and is well equipped. Other amenities include CD/radio, satellite TV, DVD player, washing machine and fans in all rooms. The villa is set within its walled garden, newly planted with scented climbers, lawn and herb bed, with parking for one car in front of the garage. There are several restaurants in the valley and a small supermarket selling food and many other items. Santanyi (3km) has excellent shopping facilities

Notes to the rental rates

• PLEASE NOTE AS WE DO NOT WANT TO DISCOURAGE SMALLER PARTIES, THE RATES QUOTED ARE FOR 8 PERSON OCCUPANCY, EACH FURTHER PERSON WILL BE AT 50% OF THE PER PERSON RATE. Included in these prices are all pre and post cleaning, weekly cleaning, bed linen and bath towels, welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, sugar, eggs, bread, butter, 8 litre bottle of water and bottle of wine, beach towels are available, if required for a small charge for laundering. A 25% deposit is required on confirmation of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable damage deposit of £250 in the form of a cheque should be sent to the owner at the same time as the balance payment, this will be held and returned in full subject to there being no damages or breakages. The villa is available from 4pm on arrival day until 10 am on day of departure to allow for cleaning. If further cleaning is required the housekeeper is available at 12 euros an hour, this should be booked in advance with the owner

Facilities

The kitchen is extremely well equipped with ceramic hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, stainless steel pans, ice cream maker, juicer, espresso/cappuccino coffee machine etc. The double bed is super king size and the twin beds can be pushed together to make doubles. All rooms have air cooling fans and there is a ceiling fan in the kitchen. There are power showers in all bathrooms. The dining table inside seats 6 and is extendable to seat 12, but there is another 10 seater teak table through the French doors on the terrace also 2 sunloungers. Although we do not exclude smoking, we would prefer for the comfort of all guests that smoking is restricted to the terraces and balconies. Although the lovely beach is just outside the front door, there is a pool in the apartments above the villa which we have used if purchasing some drinks! There is a family run restaurant by the beach, open from approx 10-6pm where English is spoken by the owner.
