The area of Punta Grossa is very near to Arenal d'en Castell with its many shops, bars and restaurants. The large, sandy beach is perfect for families and children which gently slopes out into the clear blue sea. The resort is 20 km from the islands capital Mahon, 40km from the second city, Cuitedella and 10 km from nearby Es Mercadal. Nearby are the towns of Playa de Fornells for sailing and windsurfing and Son Parc for the golf course.
