Quieter end of San Jamie area. Close to nature reserve. Lovely beach sand dunes two good beach restaurants. Els Girasols with its pretty garden and pool is in Son Bou in a quieter spot with the San Jamie complex amenities close by including numerous pools evening entertainment water shoots and beach train. The restaurants offer excellent variety and the massive sand dune beach is a stroll away. Mahon is a 15min car ride away. 9 hole golf 15 minutes by car. Good fishing off rocks and nearby beach(Mullet, Gilt Head bream, Dorada etc. Car hire near by or at airport. Both balconies enable you to view the sea with the pool side balcony enjoying sundown.

Son Bou is on the South coast, 6Km from Alior, a nice local town. Resort has a few shops hotels, small supermarkets and restaurants but the general feel is not busy with vast sand dunes and country walks close by. Shoppers will enjoy Mahon 15 min ride away. The apartment is well placed for entertainment, supermarket and restaurants. Families will appreciate the pools area and gardens, wildlife abounds in the nearby reserve. Local evening entertainment is five minutes walk or you can slip away for a quiet beach side evening meal.

  • 2009 Mid season £450pwk and Low £300 Pwk, Friday - Friday. (Long term winter lets e.g. Nov-April negotiable low rates). High Season rates 1st July to Sept 8th £600pwk For 2009 early booking is advised as there are more flights with only a small increase in accommodation on the Island. Call for details 07802 951085 or 01277 848666.
  • All rental rates secured with £100 per week booking deposit. All season rental rates include linen and bath towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
  • We can put you in touch with good rate car hire who will meet you at airport or deliver to apartment. Buses run along the length of the Island and are quite good value.

Notes: Apartment is first floor with excellent view of garden, pool and sea. Smoking not permitted in rooms. All rooms are neat, well equipped and bright white or cream. Kitchen Two round tables are for living area and balcony. There is plenty of space for 5. The main balcony gets the afternoon & evening sun, up to sun down, it's lovely for dinner. The grounds are equipped with two pool tables only, for further entertainment for children and adults one need only walk 500yds to San Jamie for evening entertainment and water slides.

The beach is fantastic, the gardens very pretty with a pool for infants and adults with Life guard daily. The town is small with some good restaurants but you may like to explore Mahon and the varied coast for great views and meals. nearby Alior has good food, wine cloths and pottery shops with bakers butchers etc. friendly people.

The Island is perfect for families, but that is not to say fun night life can not be found!.

Menorca is surprisingly green with many stone walled fields full of cows. Whether you are simply looking for sun, flora, fauna, beautiful countryside or ancient monuments Menorca will not let you down. The Island does have a well cared for 18 hole Golf course at Son Parc and many sports facilities throughout.

Other Activities: Shopping Mahon, 1,000's of Historic sites, very pretty countryside

An excellent stay in pretty location. Beach fantastic! Miss M Church.

Always enjoy the stay with excellent beach and restaurants. Kids liked the sand dunes. Island easy to get around with some great shopping in Mahon Ms East, Essex.

Amazing beach with some great fish food nearby. Enjoyed walking to various taleolithic sites and kids enjoyed seeing Eagles and little Ghekos. must go back Colin Shaun.

Paella Fantastic, loved the Rioja and Mahon Gin. Water shoots excellent but beach tops it all. Children want to return. J Robinson St Albans
