This is a very comfortable ground floor apartment with a fully fitted kitchen and a bathroom which has been very recently refurbished. There is a small patio to the rear and a larger one at the front overlooking attractive and well maintained gardens. Patio furniture and sunbeds are provided. A swimming pool and a children's pool are nearby. These are for the exclusive use of Els Girasols guests and are manned daily. Cots and high chairs are available. There is a maid service and bed linen and towels are changed weekly. The apartment is in a superb location with a full range of facilities nearby.

Els Girasols is a small complex of 2 storey apartments situated at a quiet end of the beach. The apartment is within walking distance of the long sandy beach of Son Bou on the south coast of the island. This beach has been described by travel experts as the best beach on Menorca. Son Bou is about 20 minutes by car, bus or taxi from the airport at Mahon.

Facilities within easy reach: Although this apartment is situated at a quiet end of the beach, there are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Also within walking distance are supermarkets, shops, water-slides and a giant maze for children. There is a wide range of entertainment for children and adults in the area. There is a good local transport system but, should you wish to hire a car there are many car hire firms on the island.

After recently holidaying for the first time at Els Girasols Menorca,In fact even Spain.
I feel i must comment on what a really relaxing,charming and pleasant time my party had.
The apartment was precisely as described and for my party was ideally situated in a lovely charming spot close enough to all amenities whilst keeping its pleasant relaxed quality.
The whole experience was a delight, due to a great location and the friendly pleasant people on the island.
Owner's Response: This reviewer's comments are greatly appreciated. It is true that the apartment is in a very relaxing and peaceful situation whilst at the same time being conveniently placed for all the amenities. My children have such happy memories of their holidays in Menorca and now take their own children there each year. I would say however that this holiday would also be very suitable for people without children who just want to relax and enjoy the sun sea and sand. The location is ideal for visiting the numerous beauty spots on the island.
