Luxury First Floor Apartment with Panaramic Sea Views

Beautifully furnished and equipment apartment (all electric) with stunning sea views, seen both on the balcony and inside the apartment! Part of the small complex of Ses Colinas, with shared pool and well kept gardens, the apartment enjoys full air conditioning (separate units for each bedroom and living areas) and has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard. There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin). The extremely spacious living area has an attractive large fully-sprung sofa bed and wardrobe, enabling self-contained use, opening onto the front sun terrace. This is equipped with a built-in BBQ, table, chairs and sun loungers. The modern kitchen contains a built-in dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob, large fridge/freezer. The washing machine is housed in the back utility balcony. The apartment is our second home and really has been equipped and furnished above what can normally be expected for an apartment. Flat screen satellite TV with DVD player now installed.

Situated on the north coats of the island, Son Parc is just 25 minutes leisurely drive from the airport. About 5 minutes stroll from the apartment is a beautiful beach with shallow water backed by dunes and pinewoods. A short walk across the headlands will take you to other beaches. Also at Son Parc is the island's only golf course where visitors are welcome. Here, you will also find a driving range and tennis courts. Bars, restaurants/take away to suit every taste and pocket are within a few minutes walk from the apartment, as are supermarkets and entertainment. There is a daily bus service into Mahon and whilst a car is not necessary we would recommend hiring one for at least some of your stay so that you might explore the island's many lovely sights.

The changeover day is a Monday - there is though some flexibility with this at the beginning and end of the season. We do though have to stick to this during the main part of the season. We are finding that the school holiday weeks are being booked up by August of the previous year - we are happy to take bookings for summer 2008 now upon receipt of £70 deposit.

Notes:

There are a number of steps up to the apartment and whilst would not suit the infirm, they would pose little problem for the elderly in a good state of health. Our English representative living close by is available to deal with problems that might occur. Bed linen, hand, bath and tea towels are provided - you will only need to take your own beach towels. If you would like to hire a car, this can be arranged for you through a local company who will meet you at the airport. Please note that the apartment is not suitable for young children, particularly those under 5 years, as the balcony rails are quite low, with the additional risk of a built-in seat area on the wall to the side, which is tempting for young children to climb on, and then lean over the top. (The glass top coffee table in the apartment is also a risk).

Changeover day

As from 2005 bookings will be from Monday to Monday. This is because most our guests have found better deals for flights on Mondays and so, have preferred to book from a Monday. Update: We are happy to be flexible where possible with the changeover date, out of the main holiday period of Mid July through August. We are considering changing the changeover date to a Saturday for 2009, due to a number of requests this season for Saturdays, (we have also had a lot of requests for Tuesdays, we feel though that Tuesdays might be a bit limiting for the majority of people, although we ourselves can get good flights from Birmingham on Tuesdays). We would appreciate feedback before making any decision for 2009.
