Charming farmhouse close to the sea.

This beautiful old Menorcan farmhouse built in stone and wood beams has been recently totally refurbished to a very high standard. The house, located in a natural protected area with plenty of birds, is surrounded by rural lands. Close to the beach of Son Bou, the house benefits from some sea views and a lot of intimacy. The house is ideal for a family of up to 8 people, or 2 families to enjoy nature and tranquillity. The house is split in 2 levels. The ground level has a fully equipped kitchen, a dinning room open to a living space with an old chimney. Also, on the ground floor is located 2 bedrooms and a separate laundry room. On the first floor, a first large twin bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom, leads to the master bedroom with terrace and an en-suite bathroom. Most of the furniture’s are of antique menorcan style carefully selected by the owner. The garden has plenty of fig trees and wild olive trees and a private pathway leads to wonderful woodland.

The farmhouse is located in a natural protected area of particular beauty, which is adjacent to the village of Torre Soli Nou. The access to the property is through a short rural road, which crosses rural fields. Between the house and the sandy coast there is a virgin wild and wet area ideal for bird watching. Torre Soli Nou has necessary shops, pharmacy, restaurants and bars. The closest town, Alayor is at 6km from the house. The house is ideally located with easy access to each corner of the Island. For example the golf course of Son Parc is 15km from the house, the historic city of Ciutadella is 30km away and the harbour of Fornells is 20km away.
