There are two ground floor and two first floor apartments only, this apartment is on the upper floor giving wonderful views across the golf course and unspoilt countryside. It is front line overlooking the third fairway with its large lake . It is 500 yards from the clubhouse. There are two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, a full bathroom en-suite and a shower room with wash-hand basin and WC. There is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge freezer, built-in oven and hob, toaster and microwave. The lounge-diner, with TV and video, opens onto the south-facing terrace with fitted BBQ, where you can sit and watch the sunset. Facilities include, hair-dryers, iron and ironing board, bed linen, towels .The large pool is solely for the use of apartment guests. It is very quiet and peaceful. These apartments are all privately owned and cared for by the owners.Guests are requested not to use the pool late at night or early in the morning, loud music and noise is a no no !!!

Menorca is the smallest of the Balearic Islands and the least developed with the emphasis on villas and apartments rather than high rise developments.Know as the blue and white island with sparkling clear seas and whitewashed houses.Son Park is on the north east coast of the island, half an hours drive from Mahon and the airport.The nearest sandy beach is 5 minutes drive and for beach lovers there are numerous sandy coves to explore,quite unspoilt, and as the island is only about 21 by 12 miles you are never far away from discovering one of them.About a 15 minute drive takes you to the attractive fishing village of Fornells where you can enjoy most water sports.For those who enjoy the cooler months the island offers peace and tranquillity with fine bird watching,on the golf course or at the nearby nature reserve of S Albufera.There are numerous interesting walks,a book with maps and information is provided,where you can explore ancient coastal paths,caves,coves and prehistoric remains

  • Bookings are regarded as confirmed once 150 pounds for each week has been received plus a signed booking form.The balance of the total holiday cost will be payable two months prior to the commencement of the holiday.If the holiday is due to commence less than three months after the booking thereof then the total holiday cost is payable at the time of booking.In the event of cancellation of the holiday within three months of the stated departure date no monies will be returned.Cancellation prior to three months before the departure date will qualify for 50% of the deposit being returned in cases where the cancelled period is successfully re-let otherwise deposits paid will be fortified.Should the balance of the total cost of the holiday not be paid by the required time then the holiday will be regarded as cancelled and deposits paid will not be returned.

Eating Out: Menorca has many waterside bars and restaurants and off the beaten track farmhouse restaurants. Fornells is famous for its fish restaurants. One of these is Es Plau often used by the king of Spain!!! Also here in a wonderful location is Ses Salinas where you dine in style on a terrace overlooking the bay of Fornells. Both Alaior and Mercadal have good bars and restaurants many serving traditional local food. A trip to the port of Mahon is a must not to be missed. There are so many good restaurants overlooking the water serving a fine selection of pasta pizza, fresh fish meat and tapas. The Golf Club has an excellent restaurant which is a short walk from the apartment where you can dine al fresco on the attractive terrace overlooking the course. Bar snacks including English breakfasts are available all day.Not to be missed is the small harbour of Calas Fonts, about half an hours drive.Here you will find restaurants and tapas bars right on the waters edge alongside local fishing boats.

Activities: Fornells offers most water sports such as a sailing, wind surfing, water skiing, wake boarding and scuba diving. For that special day you can experience the real Menorca from a 37 foot catamaran with food and wine included or a romantic sunset cruise with sangria and tapas. The port of Mahon is three and a half kilometres long and a boat trip round the harbour is an inexpensive must. You can also experience big game fishing off the coast in a fully equipped boat or you can spend an idyllic day out on your own sea going yacht with a qualified skipper and escape to offshore islands, explore remote coves. Snorkel, swim and sunbathe. Also learn to sail at Menorca Cruising School, in their 11 metre Bavaria yachts. Horse riding is close to Son Park with one stables 2 kilometres away and another in Alaior.For those with the correct qualifications you can charter your own boat where you can explore the hidden beaches and coves of Menorca.Don't forget the wonderful walks along ancient paths

Island information: Shopping can be fun. The leather goods are of excellent quality and have that chic continental style. The old capital Ciutadella, approx 40 min drive from Son Park, has many elegant shops with narrow streets and a traditional central square. Mahon is a vibrant busy town with good shops with weekly open air markets. Mahon is steeped in history having been occupied by many invaders in the last 300 years by both French and British. The port of Mahon, the second deepest natural harbour in the world, has at its entrance the ruins of major fortifications which can be viewed. Gin has been brewed here for 200 years using an old English recipe. The local English magazine giving details and phone numbers for all activities is available in the apartment.

Golf: The golf village has six small groups of low rise apartments. All are privately owned and therefore mass tourism does not exist here. This creates a quiet and tranquil setting. It is attractive and challenging and is much quieter than many of the mainland courses. You can enjoy a relaxing game amongst the varied wild life on the course, peacocks, goats, ducks and eagles. It is a n 18 hole par 69 with water holes and tricky sand traps. There is a floodlit driving range, practise facilities, tennis, a golf shop and a good bar and restaurant. Golf tuition is available at very reasonable rates and the driving range may well have appeal for those who find the sun a bit much in high summer. There are many competitions, all open to the public.

The apartment was quite good in a very quiet and nice area, closed to many interesting places. I think it is a good strategic place in Menorca. The owner was very nice and helpfull and the apartment was charming and nice!!!
The urbanitation was also very nice, the swiming pool was open all day and night!
Although we didn´t play golf , it is nice to wake up and see the countryside and the ducks in the golf course.
They terrace was big and just in front of it.
There were some neighbours with the air conditioning all day and night on!! that was annoying but we asked them to switch it off and they did

Das Objekt liegt zwar recht ruhig, allerdings hört man jeden Nachbarn, wenn er auf die Toilette geht oder duscht. Die Einrichtungen sind alt, Wasserhähne tropfen, Betten sind abgelegen, die Öffnung der Verandatür ist ein Abenteuer ...... was mich am meisten gestört hat, dass die Wohnung nur halb so gross ist, wie sie auf der Internetseite angepriesen wird. Ich würde die Wohnung nicht noch einmal buchen.
