Our beautiful typically Spanish apartment is a perfect summer holiday rental self catering apartment on the top floor of the low rise whitewashed buildings that go to make up the Albatros group of apartments all built round the attractive swimming pool which is about 20 metres from our doorstep. Our self catering apartment is on the edge of the group next door to the golf clubhouse with a sun terrace and a sun roof which accessed by an outdoor set of steps gated for the safety of young children staying at our apartment. On the sun roof of our self catering apartment in Son Parc Menorca you can relax in the sun in complete privacy and enjoy barbecues and the lovely sunsets with an unbroken 360 degree view over the golf course and surrounding area. Albatros apartments Son Parc are situated on the north coast of the island just 20 minutes drive from the airport. Son Parc village is about 5 minutes drive where there are some shops, a supermarket, bars and restaurants. The beautiful sandy beach (a further 5 minutes drive) has shallow water backed by dunes and pine woods. A 20 minute walk across headlands will take you to other secluded beaches and coves. Menorca is a small island and nowhere is very far away. Mahon the capital is just 17 kilometres away and has the second deepest natural harbour in the Mediterranean. The town was host to the English navy in the late 18th century and there are many elegant colonial buildings that stand along the cliffs reminding us of the British influence. The waterfront at Mahon is buzzing with many restaurants and cafes and you can spend a relaxed afternoon watching the boats go by. Es Mercadal and Aalaior are within 10 minutes drive and both have a good selection of shops and restaurants.

Fabulous location and great facilities in and around the apartment.

Close to a wide range of good restaurants (some excellent) and a wonderful beach. Should you be looking for a holiday exerting yourselves on the golf coarse, tennis courts, swimming and walking or just relaxing in the peace and quiet, watching the sun go down from the veranda, you couldn't pick a better place.

It was pure bliss!

Fantastic location, excellent accommodation - the ideal holiday apartment. Apartment was well laid out, and has the added benefit of a large private roof terrace.

The apartment was as described on the web site, was clean and well maintained. Booking was easy and Clem (the owner) kept me updated, supplied info by return e-mail and was always prompt and friendly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

If you’re looking for a fantastic location, that is very peaceful and quiet, but close enough to all the local amenities then this apartment is for you.
