Cala en Porter holiday house

The house is a 5 minute walk into the town centre of Calan Porter, 15 minutes drive from Mahon the capital and airport. Accommodation comprises Master bedroom with California King size Bed, a sofa bed for 2 tiny children and a large bathroom en suite. 3 further bedrooms ( 2 doubles..one en suite + 1 twin bedded)...plus an extra smaller bathroom. Calan Porter has a variety of popular bars and restaurants, excellent supermarket, butcher, baker and banking services. Wonderful bay, safe for children, 2 excellent beach bars open all day long, serving local ‘Tapas’ or Paella. Entertainment each evening in various complexes open to everyone. Lovely walk into the next bay of Calas Covas. A great resort for everyone.

The property has it's own private swimming pool (8.5 metres long), surrounded by pretty flower beds which include Bougainvillea and many other plants and shrubs. Huge sun-bathing terrace with plenty of sun beds. Also adjacent, smaller extremely sunny terrace with Menorcan style BBQ area. Nearby clothes-drying area and washing machine. There are further terraces on the first and second floors of the property. The second floor terrace having the most stunning views of Calan Porter and the bay. On a clear day you can see the Tramuntana Mountain range in Mallorca, the next island and the amazing sunsets each evening. .

There is a daily bus service into Mahon, which runs every hour, except during siesta time. If you want to see Menorca properly, then hiring a car is advisable. Information on this can be supplied by owners on reserving the house. If you wish to hire a car you will be met at the airport by the car hire rep who will also help you with directions to the house (only 15 mins away). Golf: There is a very pretty 18 hole Golf Course in Son Parc on the north of the island, approx 30 mins drive from Calan Porter. Information can be supplied by owners on request.
