The villa offers spacious grounds, extensive views and a high level of comfort for a perfect family beach holiday. Built on 2 plots of land with a mature garden, it is secluded from neighbouring villas and set on a quiet road in the best part of Binibeca. Recent renovation includes two new shower rooms (in addition to the main bathroom) and two new kitchens. The main kitchen is fully equipped, the other is a kitchenette at the side of the dining room. Three bedrooms have double beds, the fourth has twins, all are fitted with ceiling fans and mosquito nets. There are two comfy sofas in the living room, one being a sofabed should an extra bed be needed. The 20 sunken spot lights around the back terrace and down by the pool are a new feature and there is a bakehouse with Weber kettle at the back of the garden for those who enjoy a barbecue. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach, restaurants & supermarket. Being our only holiday home the villa receives our full attention.

Binibeca (Binibèquer) retains all of its charm, remaining unspoilt and very much unchanged since our first family holiday there nearly 40 years ago. Views from the roof terrace are extensive, facing south to the beach and north across green and uninhabited land. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, a popular picturesque sandy bay with bar and kitchen offering great food and refreshment throughout the day. Many of the surrounding villas are owned by quiet and friendly Menorcian families. The restaurants are mainly run by locals providing good service and a variety of styles of quality cuisine. You will find places serving food until midnight and drinks until 2am. If you are looking for an uncomplicated family beach holiday then you need look no further than Binibeca. It takes 15 minutes to drive from the airport (taxi €25) close to the main town of Mahón (Maó) famous for its large natural port, great in the daytime for shopping and for numerous restaurants and bars by night

Notes: Close to the beach are many restaurants & bars; 2 supermarkets; a dive centre and tennis courts. The villa has a private swimming pool 8m long, 4m wide, 1m at the shallow end down to 2m deep. It is well secluded and ideal for all ages however children must be supervised whilst in and around the pool at all times. The villa has been furnished in a traditional style and much of the character retained despite refurbishment, providing the living room with air conditioning, satellite TV & DVD. Fresh laundry & bathroom towels are provided each week. Additional deliveries can be arranged through our agents Will & Rachel who live close by and are quick to help if you are unsure about anything during your stay. For keen golfers, there is a golf course, a beautiful and well maintained 18 hole golf course on the north side of the island at Son Parc. Our family has enjoyed the villa, the surroundings and the Menorcan way of life for nearly 40 years and we know you'll love it too. Simon Hunter

We had a most enjoyable holiday. We found the villa to be well equipped and comfortable. We liked the fact that there were lots of your father's paintings around - it added to the charm of the villa, which is beautifully set in a lovely garden. Having the second little kitchen area in the dining room is a major plus point. It was nice not having to run back and forth to the kitchen. Jenny Rickman.

Nice villa in a good location, not overlooked and private. Restaurants, bar, shop and beach in walking distance; shortcuts do involve steps, however. Beach good for swimming and snorkelling - a bar is also here if you're up to it.

Great for a lazy break

We had a great time at this villa. It's perfect for a hot, relaxed holiday. The villa is spacious and pleasant with good facilities, satellite TV and games. The pool is excellent and was a big hit with our kids. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, sandy and safe with a bar serving good food. We didn't hire a car as we were after a laid-back holiday but we did stir ourselves to vist a fiesta in nearby San Lluis and the capital Mahon. We used a local taxi company who always turned up in 5-10 minutes and were reasonably priced. The local mini-supermarket is well stocked and there's a variety of restaurants in Binibeca.

A beatiful, well equipped property in a secluded, quiet location.
The pool is lovely and was much appreciated by all.
Mosquitos were a bit of a problem in the evenings but this would have been reduced if we had found the well stocked anti-mosquito arsenal earlier.
Binibeca beach is very child friendly but a bit crowded by lunch time.
We had a great time and I would recommend the villa and the location.
