This superb luxury detached villa is perched on the cliff top in the popular resort of Cala ‘n Porter and offers superb coastal and sea views. All the amenities of this popular resort are within walking distance. The accommodation, which is all on one level, comprises of a spacious living / dining with feature central fireplace and full length picture windows looking out to sea. There one double bedroom with adjacent family bathroom and three further double bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms. The well equipped fitted kitchen is accessed directly from the living room. Entertainment is provided by Satellite TV and a music system. The villa is furnished and equipped to a high standard with the main living areas benefiting from air-conditioning and central heating, which is available at a small additional cost.

The well-known and popular resort of Cala 'n Porter is on the south coast and offers turquoise blue waters that glisten in a narrow cove backed by a wide sandy beach. On one side, the untouched limestone cliffs are the home to seabirds. On the other side of the cove there are a number of homes perched precariously on the cliff-face. A unique bar and nightclub, Covas den Xoroi, named after Xoroi, a legendary Berber pirate who abducted a local girl and kept her in his cave, is set in a cave high up in the cliffs. The resort has a wealth of bars and restaurants including some on the beach. A weekly market is held in the square to compliment the choice from the varied shops within the resort. A little road train runs around the resort through the day, and down to the beach. Besides the Covas den Xoroi nightclub, family entertainment can be found most evenings in local hotel, which are open to all. A villa holiday to Cala 'n Porter is ideal for families with children or couples.

A beautifully located villa with stunning views

I planned a holiday for 10 members of my family including 2 young children and had a very pleasant stay at Villa Vista Mar.

The location is great and the views are incredible. Eating breakfast on the balcony or watching the sun set with a glass of wine is highly recommended.

It's pretty good if you have young kids although with the number of steps outside you will need to be careful with toddlers.

Overall I would definitely recommend the Villa to anyone. The price is great and the holiday was very relaxing.

After the promise of a Superb luxury villa I was disappointed to find the villa in need of a serious refurbishment. The interior was very tired and had seen better days. Examples of this were mildew stained curtains not securely fixed, stained bedstead without a cover, bare wires in the bathroom and insufficient bathroom facilities, unclean throws on the sofas, a kitchen from the 1980's and the whole villa smelt of damp and needed a thorough clean. The view would have been much better if the windows were clean. The resort centre was a good 15 minute walk which was quite hilly and I definately think the beach was more than 500 metres away as advertised. On the plus side the Pool area was nice with artificial grass surrounding the grounds. Anyone interested in staying in Calan Porter should be aware that the resort is very British and the food on offer was of the Egg and Chips type. The Beach at the resort was nice but after the 15 minute walk to the beach cliff from the villa a further 100 odd steps were needed to be negotiated to get to the beach. Overall I would not recommend the villa and resort to anyone looking for a relaxing break.
