Golf - Tennis and other Sports: The weather allows for all year round sports. GOLF - There are three top quality championship golf courses at La Manga Club, an extensive golf academy and large practice area. Golf tournaments are regularly organised and booking tee-times and organising all your golfing needs is easily done through the well managed golf reception. TENNIS - one of the most highly regarded tennis centre's in Europe is based at La Manga with 28 top quality courts including beautifully maintained clay courts which have held many top tournaments. Social tennis and weekly tournaments are a feature of the Academy. OTHER SPORTS - the area is ideal for cycling, walking football, and water-based activities. You'll really deserve a visit to the many top quality restaurants and less formal eating places available around the resort and in the local towns of Los Belones and Cabo de Palos.
Around the Area: Lots of secluded sandy beaches within a short drive. Cabo de Palos fishing village 10 minutes away with harbour, beautiful seafood restaurants and scenic lighthouse, Sunday market and good ceramic shops. Historic towns of Cartagena with its ancient port, and Murcia with its magnificent Cathedral and famous 'El Corte Ingles' department store.
