Apartment at La Manga Club, Murcia, Costa Calida, Spain: Luxury 3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom, first floor apartment, recently re fitted and furnished. Two bedrooms have French windows leading to lawn and sitting area. Sitting room has a large flat screen satellite TV with DVD, glass dining table to seat six, and large, curved, continuous sofa. Sitting room opens onto private sun terrace with built-in BBQ, and has superb views of the Mar Menor and Mediterranean sea. Apartment benefits from air conditioning, heating, incoming telephone line, kitchen with large oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Situated close to the tennis club, two supermarkets, quality boutiques and the majority of restaurants. Easy access to golf, with a 50% discount on green fees & tennis discounts as Residents / Club members. 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool available, with jacuzzi & gym nearby. Parking available at front and rear.

La Manga Resort La Manga is a popular destination all year round, offering temperatures circa 65-70 degrees in the winter, and 85-95 degrees in high summer. It is very accessible either from Murcia Airport (20 min transfer) or Alicante airport (50 min by car). The resort now benefits from a good number of restaurants & bars - La Finca is particularly highly recommended for that more exclusive dinner or Luigis do a great pizza ! The resort is set up in the mountains, but within a 10 minute drive of either La Manga's Mediterranean beach (with great fish restaurant open high summer only) or local beaches.

Notes: The apartment is less than 3 years old, and is furnished to a very high standard. The rooms are all spacious, and the terrace enjoys sun all day between March & September & is in prime position overlooking (but not too close to) the larger outdoor pool, the tennis club & with views of the sea. The indoor pool is approx. 25m long, adjoins a jacuzzi & a small gym is available to residents. Older children are welcome(over age of 12), but we ask them and their parents to respect our high quality apartment. Iron and ironing board available. Apartment suitable for elderly and infirm but access involves a steep hill - car may be required - and stairs to first floor apartment.

Sporting facilities - tennis and football : La Manga Sports Facilities La Manga Club is owned by P & O, and is primarily an exclusive British resort for golf & tennis enthusiasts. Our apartment is located opposite the tennis club, which is now the official LTA winter training centre & offers 24 courts of all surfaces (again bookings are strongly recommended prior to departure from the UK during mid or high season). A tennis academy (both adult & junior) runs regularly (please check with the tennis club for dates). Club members are entitled to a 10% reduction on court fees. There are also regular visits made by club and international football teams to the selection of football pitches & training areas - the England team practised here prior to the World Cup !

Sporting facilities - golf: La Manga enjoys 3 international standard golf courses plus a pitch & putt. There are frequent tournaments held within the resort all year round, so please book in advance. As Club members, you are entitled to a 50% reduction on green fees, and you are advised to pre-book tee times at all times of year.

Other : Car Hire available from the resort to explore surrounding countryside, or there's bike hire for the more adventurous !

Although having been to this resort for a great number of years, this was the first time that i had rented a private property.My fellow visitors and i were most impressed with the standard of the accomodation, coupled with the owners organisation of all details, it made for a stress free break.
