Notes to the rental rates

• Prices for the apartment represent approximately 20-30% saving on well known holiday company rates. Price includes bed linen, towels (1 pool towel, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel per person), electricity, air-con/heating, Info pack and travel tips. Also a mid-stay clean & linen change for 2 week bookings.
  Z-bed for 5th guest approximately £100 per week. Cot/high chair approx £50 per week.
  Free use of El Pinar pool and poolside sunbeds. Full on site support. Deposit secures booking.
  On arrival at Club you will sign a credit card slip as a security deposit against keys & property. Check in from 4pm on day of arrival, check out 10.30am on day of departure.
  
• When looking for flights don't forget to try Iberia, Monarch, British Midlands BMI (also fly from LHR)and Lufthansa. And don't forget Ryan air charge £15 each way for golf clubs which must be prebooked AND make you sign a disclaimer that says they're not responsible for their safe passage - and only allow 15kg of baggage per person.
  
• TRAVEL/OTHER ARRANGEMENTS You must arrange your flights, airport parking, travel insurance & pre-book any sports activities, but you will be sent all info/contact details to make this easy.
  OFF SITE: Just outside the Club, the surrounding hills provide great walking, horse riding (local stables) or mountain biking with amazing views & hidden surprises: including the big guns (ask locally as easy to get lost), secluded coves & a protected nature reserve with salt flats (with healing properties), cliffs, dunes & long stretches of undisturbed untouched sandy beaches. Mar Menor also provides miles of sandy beaches with full facilities/play areas and extensive water sports only 5 to 20 minutes drive away. A small fishing village with harbour, seafood restaurants, huge lighthouse & Sunday market lies 10 mins away. The historic town of Cartegena has an ancient port and great shopping & Murcia has a magnificent cathedral, many important museums, splendid buildings ... and more shopping

Whilst staying in this apartment you will receive 'residents' status at the La Manga sports club allowing you to play golf and tennis at residents rates (Golf, 50% cheaper than public rates tennis 10-20% cheaper). NOT ALL NEW PROPERTIES CAN OFFER THIS. La Manga club offers 3 championship 18 hole golf courses. Golf should be booked in advance, and for the south course, handicap certificates and soft spikes are required. Regular golf competitions are open to visitors. La Manga offers one of Europe’s best tennis academies, 5 day course, separate academies for children and adults and an exception golf academy. All academies should be booked in advance. We had a fabulous holiday!!! Your apartment was wonderful and we thank you very much for the loan of it. The weather, the food and La Manga Club were a delight. We hope very much to return soon. *** We had an absolutely brilliant holiday in yr apartment. Not only was it new & very clean the rooms & bathrooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable, it had an excellent location at the Club & an excellent position within the complex. The views & terrace were very nice indeed. The swimming pool/ communal area were very clean -like new. The swimming pool was popular, but people seemed to come and have their time and then leave for others to use it.** El Pinar No 5 (wonderful holiday property) a big 'thank-you' for letting us rent your property over the Easter holidays. We had a wonderful holiday.

Golf Information:

With its mild winters & less than 12” of rain a year, La Manga club is generally regarded as a premier European golfing destination. Although the 3 championship courses are always in demand, they are not overcrowded &, as one would expect, are immaculately kept. Much time, effort & money is spent refurbishing the courses and an extensive reseeding/upgrading programme is just coming to an end leaving the North & South courses improved, in A1 condition. The golf academy includes the latest state-of-the-art video technology for swing analysis & is thoroughly recommended by all who attend. In all the facilities are excellent for all abilities/ages. There is a 90 bay floodlit driving range, a practise putting green (maintained just as well as the 3 championship courses), 2 chipping greens, a practice bunker, resident professionals available & competitions 3 times a week.
