The Las Palmeras community of only 30 villa style apartments is identical in style to the adjoining 5-Star La Quinta Club, arranged in blocks of 4 linked apartments (2 upper and 2 lower apartments).The peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac with its own manicured gardens, pathways and lovely pool overlooking the Par 47 pitch and putt course is ideal and yet is only 5 minutes walk away from the Tennis Centre, shops, restaurants and supermarket. The La Manga Club is conveniently located with motorway access from Murcia Airport (San Javier) 20 minutes away and from Alicante (60 minutes). From the La Manga Club you can look across the golf courses to the Mar Menor (inland sea) and the Mediterranean. In the immediate area are the villages of Los Belones and Cabo de Palos, 5-10 minutes away by car. 10 minutes away are the beaches of the Calblanque National Park. 20 minutes away is the ancient city and port of Cartagena. Murcia, the regional capital, is about 40 minutes away. There are many coves to visit along the coast and walks to suit all levels in the foothills around the club. There are numerous bars and restaurants both on the club and in the surrounding area to suit all tastes. You can choose to relax on the club, visit the local area, or a combination of both. The La Manga Club really does have something for everyone.

  • Rental prices include 'welcome pack', arrival and departure clean, linen,bath and pool towels (not for beach use), mid-holiday clean and linen change for bookings of 2 weeks, electricity and air-con, free cot if required, on site support by our agent on the club, residents sports discounts golf (50%) and tennis (10%). Free exclusive use of community pool and sunbeds.
  • Terms: Lettings are for a minimum of one week starting any day from 16.00 (except Sundays) to 10.00 on the day of departure. If a booking straddles two different price periods, the cost will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, depending on the number of days in each period. The prices shown are for the accommodation per week and not per person. 25% of the total rental is payable on booking, the balance to be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. Guests are asked to restrict smoking to the balconies and roof terrace.
  • Please note that if payment of the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The guest will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent unless we are able to re-let the property. We recommend that you take out travel insurance including cancellation cover against the loss or theft of personal belongings. A credit card imprint is required upon arrival at the resort against which any damage or loss will be charged.

  • The en-suite bathroom is a luxurious room in terms of its appearance, size and quality of fittings. It is well lit and has the benefit of a skylight in the ceiling which allows natural light to enter. The twin basins set in front of a large mirror are particularly useful, as is the heated towel rail. The grey marble is especially attractive. The bathroom has a separate walk-in powerful shower with glass door. The family bathroom is at the front of the apartment, next to the second bedroom and has an opening window, with security grill. The single basin is set in front of a large mirror. This bathroom also features a large walk-in powerful shower and heated towel rail. The marble is beige in this bathroom. The apartment is equipped with baby changing mat, bumbo, bath seat, plug-in baby monitor, stairgate, new travel cot and bedding, high chair, booster seat and many more items to make your stay with little ones safe and comfortable.

  • The Master Bedroom is light and spacious with french doors opening onto a balcony where one can sit and enjoy the sea views. The large double bed (5') is new (2006) and comes with an assortment of bed covers, duvets and blankets. There are 2 bedside tables, with drawers and reading lights, one tall chest of drawers, 2 built-in double wardrobes, one of which contains the safe, 2 mirrors, hairdryer, rugs and chair, TV point, door to en-suite. The second bedroom which is at the front of the apartment, is also light and spacious, with 2 single beds, matching curtains and bed covers, 2 side tables with drawers and bedside lights, mirror, chest of drawers, and 1 fitted wardrobe, TV and PlayStation 2. Our upper apartment also features an additional mezzanine / 3rd bedroom above the dining area. This is equipped with a pull-out single bed, small chest of drawers, table, bedside light, Hi-Fi. The mezzanine is accessed by a flight of 6 steps with a child safety gate at the bottom.

Notes: The light and airy apartment is equipped to a very high standard with marble floors throughout. The modern kitchen has been entirely refitted in Dec 2005 with new units and new appliances (oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher). In addition there are numerous extras including a toasted sandwich maker, coffee maker, kettle, iron, microwave, rice maker, toaster, cool box. There are 2 sets of crockery - one set of white china and a set of unbreakable plates and bowls for outdoor use. The 2 sofas in the double height sitting room were replaced in 2005 and seat 6 as does the circular glass dining table which is accessed via a hatch from the kitchen. There are 2 TVs-satellite, video recorder/DVD player, PlayStation 2 / DVD player, selection of games, videos & books. The telephone can be used to book golf, tennis, restaurants and to receive incoming calls from the UK. There are 2 balconies, outdoor BBQ, table & seating for 6 and a large roof terrace.

La Manga Club Facilities: La Manga has something for everybody. Relax round the Las Palmeras pool, play golf on one of the 3 championship courses, tennis on one of the 28 multi-surface courts at the Tennis Centre where there are tournaments and tuition available. Rent mountain bikes, go horse-riding, or the whole family can play pitch 'n putt on the Par 47 or crazy golf by the Oasis pool. For young children there is the creche / mini-club (full details available), babysitting (if required). There are over 20 restaurants on the Club to suit all tastes - including La Cala -the Club's stunning beach side restaurant, Victor's International dining, various traditional Bistro's, Indian (new), Uncle Sam's American Diner and Tom's Pizza (also take-away). The Hyatt Hotel has a piano bar, live music, nightclub & casino. There are several bars, a pub and disco on the Club, 2 supermarkets, several boutiques, chemists, doctor, 24 hr security, banks, estate agents and telephone exchange with internet access.

Off the Club: From the apartment balconies you can see the Mar Menor (10 mins by car) with miles of sandy beaches and its shallow warm water; hire a pedalo or go wind-sailing. Go diving in the Mediterranean (PADI courses available) Visit the fishing village of Cabo de Palos (10 mins by car), eat at the restaurants around the harbour, and combine it with a trip to their Sunday market (the largest around). Visit the beaches of the Calblanque National Park (10 mins by car). Walk from the Club to the Portman Guns and other spectacular scenery. Visit the ancient port of Cartagena or see the Cathedral at Murcia. Shop at Spain's largest department store El Corte Ingles (at Murcia and a newly opened branch in Cartagena).

Golf: La Manga is one of Europe's premier golfing destinations with 3 Championship Courses offering a comprehensive range of activities to golfers of all abilities, from the Par 47 Pitch and Putt course to the redesigned (2004/5) Championship South Course for which an official handicap certificate is required. (No handicap certificate is required to play the West course). Soft spikes are required on the 3 main courses. Las Palmeras residents qualify for 50% discount on public rates. What a superb property with stunning views and in an excellent location. On arrival the apartment was very clean and well equiped. Little extra touches such as the pool towels being provided and welcome pack were much appreciated. The onsite facilities were excellent including the pool serving this apartment and selected others. The adjoining countryside was just a beautiful with lots to do( including some lovely beaches) and to explore. The children had a wonderful time so much so that we have booked to go again.
There was lots of nice places to eat both on site and in adjoining villages .
The first floor balcony with its BBQ and table and chairs was like being in paradise due to the fab views and peaceful location of the appartment, particuarly for breakfast and in the evening .
A car is essential if you wish to go off site and explore, parking was easy as we could park right in front of this beautiful 1st floor apartment
We would thoroughly recomend this well equiped accommodation wishing to stay in this part of Spain
