  • Rental costs include welcome pack of groceries (minimum stay 7 nights), electricity, air conditioning/heating, bed linen, towels (bath sheets) on arrival and a mid stay clean with a towel and linen change for bookings of 2 weeks.
    BEACH TOWELS ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
    A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your reservation with the balance required eight weeks before departure.
    Our local management company is on hand 24 hours a day during your stay. The supply of high chairs, cots and stair gates can also be arranged through them and a price list for these services is available if required. Arrival time at the villa is 4.00pm with vacation at 10.30am on the day of departure.

La Manga Club Facilities: Something for everyone at La Manga - 3 championship golf courses (it is advisable to book golf in advance to avoid disappointment), and handicap certificates and soft spikes are required. Golf tuition may be booked in advance at the academy. There is also a superb par 47 pitch and put course. Regular golf competitions are open to visitors. 22 tennis courts with top class tuition many floodlit. Also available paddle tennis, gymnasium, luxury spa (for the ladies whilst hubby plays golf!), sauna and jacuzzi, bowling green, crazy golf and cycle and quad bike hire. There is also a mini-club which operates for children from 6 months to 12 years as well as tennis, golf and football academies.

Other Facilities: Within the club there are a large number of restaurants or bars to choose from. The Hyatt Hotel offers entertainment till late. Also on the complex are designer clothes shops, supermarkets, banks, post office, chemists and a doctors and dentist surgery. 5 minutes from the club is the small Spanish town of Los Belones with a number of superb restaurants and bars.

We had a fantastic family holiday with our 2 teenage sons at this villa. The El Rancho resort is very pretty and the location of the villa was perfect. The villa was very comfortable and had spectacular views of the mar menor and the mountains from the terraces. We particularly liked the terrace off the lounge area, it was very spacious and we enjoyed meals from the barbecue. There are a choice of swimming pools on your doorstep which are very clean and lovely to swim in.

La Manga club has a large choice of restaurants to choose from. We particularly enjoyed Luigi's, Andale and La Finca. Tom's Pizza is great for takeaway. Our teenage sons enjoyed playing tennis and nights out in the Si Bar with friends they met on the resort. Bellaluz Square is a 5 minute walk away and has an ice-cream bar, restaurants, several bars and a supermarket. It is particularly nice in the evening for a relaxing drink.

Off-site there are nice places to visit - Cartagena, Cabo de Palos, Los Belones. The go-karts are also worth a go - our boys had great fun on them.

This was our third visit to La Manga club but our first time staying in the El Rancho resort. We would have no hesitation recommending this villa for a holiday and hope to return to it ourselves some day.

Well Kept Villa

We have just come back from a week at La Manga Club, stayed at this property. The villa is very clean and nicely furnished. This was our second time at La Manga and thoroughly enjoyed, would stay at this villa again if it were availalbe next time. Safe distance away from the pool which was important to us as we have a 4 year old daughter. The satellite tv sports and movies was a welcome on the nights we didn't go out, as was Tom's takeaway pizza.

The best restaurants we went to were La Finca and La Canela which is just off La Manga.

Good communication with the owners before and after stay.

A lovely villa, great views down to the sea and of the mountains and the pool. Villa is in a good location on the resort and is well equiped and nicely decorated. Parking is very close to the villa so you don't have to lug cases for miles. Some lovely restaurants within a 15/20 min walk (we liked La Bodgeta for tapas and La Finca for an upmarket meal). Resort is very well done. Spa treatments were excellent (although the pool in the spa is nothing special). The pool at the villa is nice and feels private even though it is shared with some of the other El Rancho villas (although it is not heated). Beach towels were provided which was lovely. A car is a must. We used Hertz - which is outside the airport (2 mins in a mini bus that meets you in the car park). Which would have been fine except we had five bags as were travelling with a baby so it was a pain with the luggage. Avis was in the airport - as were about 4 other companies. The resort itself is very British so it is nice to visit some more Spanish places like cabo del purto (approx 15 mins drive away) which has nice restaurants along the harbour front. The old town in cartagena is lovely for a wonder and a coffee too (approx 30 mins drive away). The La Manga Strip itself (the huge sandbank that runs between the Mar Menor and the Med) is a bit built up and not somewhere we would visit again should we return to the villa. The information provided with the villa on local places and restuarants is very good. There are also two supermarkets on site should you want to say in (and a takeaway pizza place).
