Miles of sandy beaches with full facilities/play areas 5 - 20 minutes drive away on the Mar Menor, with extensive water sports which enjoy the best conditions in Europe. Small fishing village 10 minutes away with harbour, seafood restaurants, huge lighthouse, Sunday market & good ceramic shops. Historic towns of Cartagena with its ancient port, & Murcia with its magnificent Cathedral, are home to many important museums & splendid buildings. Both have interesting old shopping streets. Famous 'El Corte Ingles' department store at Murcia. Go-Karting nearby. Many places of interest .

Golf: There are three 18 hole championship courses at La Manga Club -- with numerous other golf courses within a half hour drive .
