Albatros holiday villa: La Manga Club

We had an absolutely fabulous holiday at La Manga Club during our recent two week stay. Having been owners at LMC ourselves in the past and not having visited the resort for 18 years, there was some apprehension that it would have changed out of all recognition. Thankfully, although it has grown massively in terms of property development, we immediately had exactly the same feelings about the place as we did when we were regular visitors in the mid to late 80s; peaceful; relaxing and secure. The golf is excellent (although not inexpensive), the restaurants, in general, are first rate and the views are, typically, stunning. In fact, the whole place oozes quality from start to finish.

As for the villa, we absolutely loved it. It’s got such a homely feel to it; it really was like a home from home. It has got a great position – really quiet, but a short drive to everything you need, great views and, most importantly, a great feel. It is well appointed and has pretty much everything you need to comfortably accommodate six people. And the pool is just perfect for cooling off on those hot Spanish days.

We dealt directly with the owners to book the villa and everything worked like clockwork, as it did when dealing with the Management Company on-site when getting the keys, etc.

We would certainly recommend La Manga Club for those families wanting a quality sunshine holiday with maybe some golf or tennis thrown in. You could stay within LMC for the entire holiday or why not venture further afield (we had an enjoyable trips to Cabo de Palos, Cartagena and Puerto de Mazerron, to mention but a few).

In summary; we love La Manga Club, we love the villa and, I’m sure, we’ll be back soon.
