My husband, 18 month old boy and I sayed in the villa for 7 days in May.
The owner was a lovely lady to deal with and made us feel very welcome on arrival.
The villa is truly a 'home fom home' - we even had a bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome us! the property is really spacious, yet was completely safe for our som to explore. We only required the bedrooms on the ground floor, however we thought the upstairs bedrooms were incredibly spacious.
We would definitely recommend a car. This is as much for your stay at La Manga in general as for your stay at this particular villa. Our only criticism of the location of the villa was that it is at the top of a steep hill, which was not practical for a buggy. However, you would not have the spectacular views from the villa if it were not located at the top of the cull-de-sac.
Food-wise, we ate out on alternate nights and can tell you that the villa's kitchen had every utensil we could have wished for! We would recommend the restaurants in La Manga that are not owned by the hotel group, especially the one that is run by an English couple. Can't recall the namer, but it was fabulous! The Tapas restaurant was also great, but expensive for portion sizes.
