Fantastic family holiday, can't wait to go back!

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday to this villa. We were travelling with a 2 year old and grandparents and everyone had a great time.
The villa is nicely presented with lots of little extras like a coolbox and icepacks, and literally a few paces to the nearest pool which was never busy, if fact as someone else has already said, we often had to ourselves.
The villas do have spiral, tiled staircases that are quite tight so I would say that stairgates are a must with younger children, we took our own travel stairgates but the owner's management company do hire them out at a price.
The terrace/balcony had fantastic views and we ate most of our meals here, the BBQ was used most nights, and what was particularly brilliantly for us was that the sides are fully built up to our 2 year old's chin height- when she was standing on the bench, so there was no danger of her falling.
It is a 5-10 minute stroll to Bellaluz, where you can find a couple of bars, great restaurant, coffee/ice-cream cafe and a well stocked supermarket, and other bars/restaurants and the tennis club are also walkable, if you can stand the heat!
The owners provided lots of little extra snippets of information both by e-mail beforehand and also in an information pack in the villa, firsthand information such as favourite restaurants that definately helped us find our feet quickly when we got there. (we know how invaluable this was as we met people in other villas that didn't have this kind of information and were, to be quite honest, a bit lost until we showed them our folder!)
La Manga does take a little getting used to. You need to be prepared to move about and look to find the best places. It doesn't have a big obvious hub. Personally this was what we loved about it. We wouldn't describe it as exciting or lively as resorts often are, but it was definately relaxing, and everyone we met was really friendly.
The sports facilities are excellent, my husband loved all the golf and we met several people taking advantage of all the tennis facilities that also rated it highly.
We will definately be back next year, as we had such a relaxing, stress-free time and can't recommend this property and it's owners any more highly!
