Located on the South East Coast in a region of Spain that remains unspoilt, La Manga Club represents one of the finest all year round leisure resorts in Europe. Just 20 minutes from Murcia airport and 60 minutes from Alicante airport (via new motorway) the exclusive La Manga Club complex is set amongst the Murcian hills next to the Mediterranean sea. The Villa is well positioned, next to one of the nine community pools in the very popular El Rancho Village, renowned for its rolling lawns and landscaped gardens. Residents are entitled to 50% discount for golf and tennis.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental costs are inclusive of parking (next to the villa), electricity, air-conditioning/heating, bed linen, bath and beach towels, an arrival clean and a departure clean.
  • A non refundable booking deposit of £100 per week is required, the balance payable eight weeks before departure. The supply of high chairs, stair gates, cots and any extra mid holiday change of linen/towels can be arranged with the local management company.
  • For bookings of 2 weeks or more, in the high season, a mid stay cleaning of the bathrooms and change of linen/towels is included in the price. Please deduct £50 from the overall cost if a mid stay clean is not required.

Notes: Improvements to the villa include reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge/dining room and bedrooms, which maintain a constant temperature (by cooling or heating), new soft furnishings/curtains throughout. Both bedrooms and the BBQ terrace have been extended. The roof terrace and kitchen were extended in 2005 with granite worktops, modern units and appliances installed. In 2006 lounge and dining room furniture was replaced and floors retiled throughout. New windows, patio and French doors replaced and bathroom and en-suite refitted to high standard. There is one full set of golf clubs in the villa, available for guests free of charge - please let me know in advance if you wish to borrow these. You should bring your own golf shoes.

La Manga Club Facilities: La Manga club offers 3 championship 18 hole golf courses, golf tuition at the La Manga Club academy, a par 47 pitch and put course, 22 tennis courts with various surfaces many of which are floodlit and teaching facilities, paddle tennis, squash, bowling green, climbing wall, Scuba diving school, crazy golf, cycle hire and a newly built spa centre with gym and fitness studio, sauna, Jacuzzi, heated indoor swimming pool and beauty treatments. Horse riding nearby. The golf should be booked in advance, soft spikes are required, and for the south course a handicap certificate. Regular club golf competitions are open to visitors.

Other Facilities: There are 25 restaurants or bars to choose from on the complex or within a short drive, designer clothes and sports shops, supermarkets, banks, post office, chemist, doctor, dentist, petrol station and estate agents. There is a Fiesta mini-club, which provides supervised activity for children aged from 6 months to 12 years. The Hyatt hotel offers entertainment until the early hours. With a hire car there are also many historic cities, market towns and fishing villages to discover off site. The villa has an information folder and maps available for use. A telephone is provided accepting incoming calls or outgoing calls within La Manga Club to book restaurants, golf, tennis or calling other La Manga Club villas. Nearby is the telephone exchange offering internet access & external phone lines.

We have been to La Manga Club many times and this is the best villa we have rented. It is conveniently situated near to supermarket and bars at the square, it is very comfortable and has a great sun bathing terrace. The on site manager was very helpful and we would certainly use the villa again

A real home from home

We chose this villa after looking at many others in different areas of the La Manga Club Resort. We felt that the villa being so close to the pool was a real benefit for our 7yr old daughter and it's close proximity to local shops, bars and restaurants was very handy. In addition the owner had been incredibly helpful and informative, happy to answer my many questions! We were so impressed when we arrived at the villa, it was everything we had hoped it would be and more. It is definitely to best private accomodation we have ever stayed in. The villa itself is so well equipped and homely, we had absolutely everything we could possible have needed and it's location was great. Knowing that there were beach towels at the villa was a great help in being able to keep our packing down and having hairdryers in each bedroom was great too. We didn't use the air-conditioning much, as the ceiling fans were sufficient to keep the temperature down. My husband made good use of the BBQ and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some lunches and evening meals. This is the first property we have stayed in with a dishwasher and washing machine, which came in very handy. We were able to see our daughter in the pool from the front terrace area and when we were around the pool we were able to leave the front door open so she could pop in and out as needed. The villa is just 5 minutes walk from Bellaluz Square which had a decent sized supermarket and a great cafe, lovely restuarant (Le Bistro) and a bar, which was great for breakfasts, plus a pharmacy and a number of lovely gift shops. In just a 20 minute walk you can reach the Tennis Centre and it's many bars, restaurants and shops. Close to the Tennis Centre is an El Arbol Supermarket which is much larger and good for a bigger shop, it was reasonably priced. We hired a car at the airport, so we saved on the taxi fares and the car was useful for days out to Murcia, Cartagena and also getting around the site. There is a free bus available on the resort but we didn't need it as everything was so close and we also had the car. We went to La Cala Restuarant down at La Manga's private beach a few times. The restaurant itself has great fresh fish and seafood and the view is amazing. The beach itself was lovely for a change to being around the pool. We had such a wonderful holiday we have already made enquiries with the owner to return next year, we can't wait!

Excellent villa

We stayed at this villa for an Easter break and I have to say that the property is an excellent choice for holidaying.

If you have decided that La Manga Club is where you would like to holiday then I would recommend this villa. The property is very clean and well looked after. The recent extension and refurbishment have made the villa spacious, with the bedrooms being generous sizes.

The bathroom and ensuite are both of a very high standard both with good showers and facilities.

The kitchen is equiped to an excellent standard and has every utensil possible to enable you to easily cater for a family.

The terrace has the morning sun shining whilst having breakfast. From the terrace you have the view of palm trees in well maintained landscaping and also a sea view in the distance with mountain views to one side.

The roof terrace catches the sun all day and good views of the Mar de Menor and Med.

Good quality linen was provided at the property but also beach towels which were a welcome addition to be able to keep luggage weights down.

The management company were friendly and it was nice to know that they could be contacted should we need to.

The property owner was very helpful and the website that the owner has created is very informative about the villa and La Manga Club.

The journey from Murcia Airport was easy with the owner providing detailed directions which made arriving at the villa straightforward.

All in all, a good holiday and I would be very happy to recommend this villa. Should we revisit La Manga Club then I would have no hesitation in booking this villa again.

Excellent quality villa, great holiday!

I spent alot of time looking at Villas for La Manga all over the web and narrowed it down to this one.I was sold on the recent refurbishment/extension,general layout, air conditioning and proximity to the pool.I have to say that, without exception, the descriptions and photography are a very good representation and this immediately gave you the feeling of satisfaction when you arrive as this is as good as I expected if not a little better.The general quality throughout is excellent and is clearly well looked after in particular the bathrooms which have been refurbished to a standard as good as most upscale hotels in my opinion.The kitchen and dining area were well used by us for breakfast and lunch and a couple of dinners over the fortnight.We really appreciated that there was not one piece of equipment, crockery or cutlery missing and of course a dishwasher.In addition the washing machine was useful and helps turn around your sports kit!The air conditioning is a must at hot times and helped us sleep at night and chill when using the lounge.The owner uses a management company who are useful to know are there if you need anything and we used there babysitting service which was a nice extra at 10 euros an hour.One of the great things about this website is once you enquire you deal direct with owner who in this case is extremely helpful over and above just booking there is other useful hints and tips.As for La Manga it is a town on its own and if you like golf, tennis, swimming, good eating out, a feeling of security and quality throughout then you will not be disappointed.Recommend a bit of research and dialogue with the tennis centre if you have not been before so that you pre-book what you have to in order to avoid missing out.One last thing I was going to taxi from the airport and avoid using a car and was advised by the owner that due to the size of La Manga it was advisable to get one, I am so glad I did as this saved a lot of hassle just getting around the resort!!I have already recommended this Villa to some freinds and look forward to grabbing the odd week here over the coming years as this Villa provided everything we needed.

Great Holiday 2008

Having stayed at the resort before we knew the area and were happy to stay at El Rancho. The villa was very well equipped and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. All main living areas (living room and two bedrooms) had air-con so great for August heat! In addition the villa is right beside the pool so great to be able to pop in and out for drinks and ice lollies for kids! Had a lovely meal at La Canela which on the road along didn't look too promising however food was great - also lovely meal at La Fuente in Los Belones. Would recommend both. All in we had a great holiday - very relaxed.
